May I ask you a question ?
Did you received your PR card with First class or a prepaid envelope ? I received my documents about 1 week earlier than you, but I haven't yet received my PR card even I have provided a prepaid envelope of next day deliver .
Thank you.
It was in a regular brown DL envelope that I had to sign for. Don't know if it was first class.

Hi Ciaocico,
I am afraid it is indeed worrying that you haven't received the confirmation email yet.
Nomader, Johnkk, Shakesy and Kruk all posted their application on 27 July or later and they all have received the confirmation email.
I think you should get in touch with Home Office.

Best of luck
Hi ciaocico
I don't think it's a big problem not receiving confirmation email. My husband applied last April 2016 and he never received confirmation email and he is not the only applicant never received email.
Did you husband received his PR card in the end ?

Hi mkp!

Yes he did received his DCPR.
I really don't know his exact timeline.
But As I remembered he send his application 20th April and received his DCPR and all his document on 18th of July I tooks 12 wks and 5 days. He paid by postal order, never received confirmation emails, he did not request his passport back.

For those who applied in September pls update me. This will take a while and It requires patience :)

Congratulations to those who received thier DCPR or PR, The long wait is over.

I helped a few friends with filling in their forms/applications and am tracking their timelines just out of interest/for this forum - one has a June timeline:

EEA national (France)
Sent: 11/06/16
Received: 13/06/16
Email: 18/07/16
(Never requested passport back as they can travel on their ID card)
Since then nothing, expecting it back mid-October or rather mid-November due to potential Brexit delays.

What's your timeline with email etc?
All information given is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.

Good afternoon everyone,
It's been 13 working days since the decision letter has made , I haven't yet received my card. I have contacted HO and received an email from them says someone will contact me back in next 5 working days .The annoying thing is I will miss my flight which costs £768 the day after tomorrow and it's unable to make refund !

Does anyone know any phone number or e-mail address for make complain ? I do not expect that I'll get refund, but I think I should let them to know at least.

Thank you.

Good luck to everyone.

Has anyone applied in April and not heard back yet?

I have applied on the 27th of April, money taken two days after. I haven't heard a thing since. No confirmation email nothing. I have been patiently waiting up to now but it is getting frustrating when you see people applying in May get PR before you. I'm happy for all of you, I truly am, I wish they have been somewhat better at this service.

My case is straightforward, 6 years of employment (EEA national) so I cannot find a way to justify the HO's lack of ability to make a decision within a reasonable timeframe.

Should I try to call them or wait for a further 2 months?

#rantover
HO received mine on 20/4, took the payment on 22/4 and sent the confirmation email on 18/4. And I haven't heard back from them after that. I'm EEA national, but I'm starting to think I won't get an answer before it's been 6 months...
Hi Nina,

Have you received yours? Nothing for me yet 3 weeks later :(

Hello everyone,

Here's my timeline:

EEA national, working for 7 years, sent documents for all 7 years (1+ kg of them in weight, sorry HO)!

Application sent: 08/08/16
Application received: 10/08/16

DCPR dated: awaiting
DCPR received: awaiting

As you can see I haven't received a confirmation email and it's been over a month. I've seen a couple of applicants here who sent their application a few days later than me and they have received an email. But I haven't. I don't understand why but I hope this doesn't affect the result of the application. Any ideas?

EU applicant and husband Non Eu
STILL WAITING ....
Did not receive anything...

In July we had a visit at home from Immigration Police as they were suspecting that we have convenience marriage. My brother opened the door for them and they entered directly in our room to check if we sleep together or not.. they found us in bed both of us sleeping.. Everything was ok .. but their way was very rude... they treated us like we are infractors or something... I felt like in movies ... Anyway of course they could see we are really together...
We did not know that they come at home for this visit. I said to write here for others to see and maybe to expect this.

I saw that others who applied after 10th of March, received already their documents.

Is there anyone who applied before 10th of March and did not receive anything?

This waiting time is too muchhhhh

Hi axelwb,
No news so far. Still waiting, post office tracker still shows Please come back later.
It kind of complicates my situation though, because my husband now needs to apply for his residence documents. He's Non-EEA and currently holds 5 years residence card which expires in November. His employer already asked him to renew his status. Now I'm not really sure what to do. I called up the Ho and they told me (without even asking for my name and reference number) that my application was still under consideration and may take up to six months (it's been almost 5 now) and I could request my documents back, it won't affect my application. I'm a bit apprehensive to do that though, what if they refuse it because they will say they haven't seen a document which was there originally but they haven't noticed it and I won't have any way of proving that it was there in the first place. My case isn't completely straightforward. I came to UK in August 2010 and started working within 2 months. I worked until October 2014 with one maternity leave break in 2013. I quit my job in October 2014 because I was pregnant again and it was too stressful and I didn't want to risk another miscarriage. I was planning to go back to work once my baby was a bit older, but changed my mind when he was about 6 months, because it wouldn't make sense financially (nursery fees are too high). We took out CSI in August 2015 to be classed as self sufficient. I contacted AIRE centre for advice and I was told I qualify for PR even though I did not work for the last 9-10 months thanks to the St Prix right. So I made an application and here I am, waiting and trying to be patient but it's like misson impossible.
I guess my husband will have to apply for another 5 year residence card, based on self-sufficiency, for now rather than PR just to play it safe? And then apply for the PR again once I get my documents back.

Anyway, good luck to you and to all on this forum and I'll definitely keep you you updated with any news.

Sure. I was refused because I didn't show evidence of CSI during student years, however I DID NOT REQUIRE CSI because I had a Yellow Registration Certificate issued before 20/06/2011. (I was lucky)

I was also refused because they misunderstood my timeline and they claimed I didn't show any evidence of work for a particular time, but I was abroad during that time so I didn't need to show evidence.

What happened in your case? Did you not receive confirmation email for your second application?

The email I received suggested it will take 6 months to get a decision!! Does anyone know how I can get my documents back in the meantime? I volunteer with children and need to get a DBS check so need certain documents back in order to do this, can I just write to them at the same address I sent the application to asking for my documents back? Has anyone received their decision/ pr card any quicker than 6 months?

I just wanted to add: Is it possible to be rejected if you've been in the country for 22 years? I arrived aged 8 when I moved over to live with my mum who had moved here 3 years previously - long story! She was told/ or thought she didn't need to apply for any residence permits for me as I was a minor. The reason I have now applied is I wish to apply for citizenship and a British passport to make things a bit easier for myself. I put on my form the dates I wish in education for and my work history but only supplied documents for the last 6 years - since I graduated from University and had to get my own place and a proper job. Will they reject me based on no evidence of for example being in secondary school during certain dates? It would seem a tad pedantic since I can prove I've been working full time and have a place to live etc.

It may take up to 6 months. If you are from EEA, then these days it takes 4 - 4.5 months. If not, maybe 5.5 - 6 months.
