Hi all,

Just a quick update... 151 days and still waiting... hopefully I will receive my PR soon... hate waiting but nothing I can do until the magic "6 months"...

On the other hand, looks like the appeal fees were increased:

Fees

The cost of appealing depends on the date of your decision letter.

If your decision letter is dated on or before 9 October 2016 it costs:
£80 without a hearing
£140 with a hearing

If your decision letter is dated on or after 10 October 2016 it costs:
£490 without a hearing
£800 with a hearing

I'm new to the forum, however I have been following it for few months now checking the timelines and problems that others encounter during their application process... EEA national - been in the UK for 9 years now - studying since 2007 (supported by my partner), in full time employment since 2010 (however didn't have WRS so it won't be counted towards my qualifying period), hence why I have applied as of 1st May 2011 when WRS was no longer required (after discussion with one of the HO representatives, as my ex is no longer in the UK, therefore it would be hard to provide all the details, documents and signature). I still included my whole timeline on the application.

Please see below for my timeline so far:

Docs sent: 24/05/2016
Docs received: 25/05/2016
Payment taken: 26/05/2016
Confirmation email: 27/06/2016
Passport requested back: 11/07/2016
2nd request 26/07/2016
Passports returned: 30/07/2016
DCPR dated:
DCPR received:

Hopefully I'll have some good news soon considering it's been 89 days since my application (as I've been told by the HO, the date is counted from when the payment was taken).

Hi All,

I used this forum back in February 2012 for help towards my era 2 residence card application. Now I am back for permanent residence application :).

Based on marriage, my 5 year qualifying period will be February 2017, however based on living together, I qualify August 2016. So we decided to take the gamble and apply in October 2016.

Timeline
Application sent: 10 Oct 2016
HO received: 11 October 2016
Payment taken out.
Biometric requested: 20th October 2016
Biometric sent: 24th October 2016
Email from HO: ?
COA: ?
PR:?

I am traveling end of November so hoping to request my passport back first week of November.

My application is straight forward. Husband received his PR August 2015 ( waiting for my PR for us to apply for citizenship) and our 4 month old son has his British passport.

Hi "avva78",
First of all congratulations on your application. I have a quick question regards your application as you have mentioned you had Many jobs and did you have gaps between the employments? If yes how did you address it in the applicatio. I know you are busy but if you please can shade some light that would be really helpful for me as I am in the same boat with multiple employment. Thanks
hi, I just got my pr back and had two gaps between employment, one was 3months and one 3 weeks. For the 3 months one I just attached a few printed emails showing I was applying for jobs and interview invitations. For the 3 weeks one I was just waiting for the reference checks to be completed for my new job, so just attached email communication on the reference checks. hope this helps

Any update from July applicants (DCPR); seems the 4 month processing time observed for previous applicants is not going to work for us.

Dear all,

Just wanted to share my timeline as this forum has been very helpful.

EEA National
Application sent: 12 August 2016
Application received: 15 August 2016
Payment taken: 16 August 2016
Passport requested back: 16 August 2016
Confirmation email received: 23 August 2016
Documents Not Returned form completed: 30 August 2016
Passport received: 1 September 2016

Still waiting.

As you can see from the timeline, I managed to get my passport back relatively quickly which was a relief as I had to travel in mid-September.

I will post again once I have heard any further.

Yes, quite a gamble.
Chances are HO will pick up the application and refuse it by January.

Time as EFM will not be counted towards acquisition of PR if concerned person did not have an EFM RC (based on their sponsor) for the relevant portion of time spent as unmarried.

I thought well it is takes up to 6 months to process so depending on when they look at it, I will qualify :D. But yeah it is a gamble but if it works out in our advantage then it will be a £65 well spent.

Urgent Help Please.

I've just received my application form i submitted on 05/10/2016, it was rejected as i hadn't ticked a box (thankfully no payment was taken) I have now completed the online application form and you cannot bypass the section relating to Health cost whilst studying.

I've been living here since 1999 and I have never been told i needed to pay for Healthcare costs nor have i ever been asked too except when i turned 18. When i was at university i like all my friends got a HC1 to waver the prescription and eye care costs. but not specifically because i was an EU national.

The online form asks for proof to be supplied for this and as i am planning on going to the council so i can keep hold of my passport and i know that they'll check the documents presents based on the checklist on the online application form.

What can i Do? i've never paid the health insurance?

No CSI no PR (unless you had an alternative).

Alternately, as you've been in UK so long, you may have been stamped into UK with ILR when you first arrived. If so no need to have acquired PR.
Check original passport used to enter UK.

Hello all,

How to amend a PR EEA application if I am an EU citizen?

Below I explain my situation in detail:

I forgot to write to the EEA PR application on page 28, that during my absence from UK between 10/12/2015 and 27/12/2015, I visited country Y too (in addition to country X).
My intention was to visit country X only, but I went to country X through country Y because of cheaper flight tickets.

In other words - flight tickets were from UK to Y and back from Y to UK, but on initial application I wrote, that I visited country X
(I forgot to mention country Y).

----------

What has happened so far about my EEA (PR) application, is following

1. I sent application to the address 'Durham, DH99 1AD': 10/10/2016
2. According to Royal Mail signature, Application was received: 11/10/2016
3. Payment taken: 13/10/2016

My amendment attempt so far:
4. I sent corrected pages of application (page 28) with explaining letter to the address 'Durham, DH99 1AD': 17/10/2016
In this explaining letter I also wrote the dates when initial application was sent and received to help HO to track it.
5. Royal Mail signature confirms receiving it: 19/10/2016

6. Confirmation 'Case ID' e-mail received: 26/10/2016 - I assume this is not about amendment letter, but about the initial application

----------

In this confirmation e-mail (with 'Case ID') it is written:
"If there is a change in your circumstances, we kindly ask that you only contact us using this link: https://www.gov.uk/change-circumstances-visa-brp"

I am confused - I find on this link only a form "Report a change of circumstances if you have a visa or BRP", which should be sent to address 'Sheffield, S3 8WA'.
As I understand EEA PR application for EEA resident is neither of these cases - not visa nor biometric residence permit (BRP).

The 'Case ID' confirmation e-mail leaves an impression, that if EEA (PR) application amendment is 'change of circumstances', then it can be done only sending a form, which is actually for cases of visa and BRP.
At the same time the EEA(PR): guidance notes leaves an impression, that maybe HO is not so bureaucratic, if even EEA (PR) application form is not mandatory: "It’s not mandatory to use the EEA(PR) application form but it will assist us in dealing with your application more efficiently if you do."

Is my amendment attempt, which I described above, enough?
or
Should I send this form - "Report a change of circumstances if you have a visa or BRP" - if I wish to amend my EEA PR application being an EU citizen?
or
What would be wise to do?
