I've just received my application form i submitted on 05/10/2016, it was rejected as i hadn't ticked a box (thankfully no payment was taken) I have now completed the online application form and you cannot bypass the section relating to Health cost whilst studying.

I've been living here since 1999 and I have never been told i needed to pay for Healthcare costs nor have i ever been asked too except when i turned 18. When i was at university i like all my friends got a HC1 to waver the prescription and eye care costs. but not specifically because i was an EU national.

...

What can i Do? i've never paid the health insurance?
No CSI no PR (unless you had an alternative).

Alternately, as you've been in UK so long, you may have been stamped into UK with ILR when you first arrived. If so no need to have acquired PR.
Check original passport used to enter UK.
Hi noajthan, thanks for getting back to me, well I've never been asked for it, I've been here since 1999. But my qualifying period is between Sept 2011-Sept 2016, and i wasn't a student in this time. Surely i can just provide copies of my Degree and explain that my studies were outside of the qualifying period?

The online application asks "since entering the UK have you taken up studying/ vocational courses" so for someone like me that grew up here, i said yes.

The questions on the new online form all seem to be mandatory.
Suggest apply on paper form.

Hello Everyone
Please I am really confused as to when I can apply for my PR. I got married to EU national in October 2011 and moved to the UK in March 2012 and have retained my right of residence due to domestic violence . My question is can I apply for a PR on the basis of marriage being 5 years or I should apply in March when I will be 5 years in the UK. In addition my RC was revoked at some point without my knowledge as it was sent to an old address but they didn't mention it when I applied for retained right of residence, I have heard people say it's 5 years of Marriage. I am just confused pls your help will be much appreciated. Thanks

Luchies90, definitely when you have been 5 years in the UK, i.e. March 2017 is when you would have attained permanent resident. 100% sure that if you apply before you have been 5 years in the UK you will get rejected. Do not go by your marriage date, if you were overseas at the time.

I have no idea about the implications of your RC having been revoked before you were granted retained right of residence but I would hope it has no implications and you get your PR in March 2017 as normal, perhaps someone else knows for sure. I dont.

I applied 4 months ago today and still no news. It is infuriating having to wait with no updates. And to think the woman in charge of this Home Office for 6 years is now in charge of the country.

Haven't been on here for a few months but here is my timeline so far:

Non EU applicant
Application received 13/05/2016
Payment taken 16/05/2016

Still waiting for PR card....will be 6 months on 16th November! Really frustrating

Anyone else got theirs with same timeline?

I've been checking this forum since we applied for our PR in May and just thought I'd update you all as it was such a help hearing other people's timelines.

My husband and I applied, and our two children who are 2 and 5. I am non-EEA and my husband and the children have EU passports. We had been in the UK for over 6 years when we applied. Today, 24 weeks after they took our payment, we got our residence documents! My 2yo got a registration certificate, but 5yo and husband got DCPR and I got a RC.

Application Sent: 23/5/2016
Payment Taken: 26/5/2016
Certificate of application: 20/6/2016
DCPR/RC issued: 2/11/2016
DCPR/RC received: 4/11/2016

(I had to do biometrics but I can't remember the dates. We didn't request back any documents from them).

I am so happy it's finally over :D

Good luck everyone!

Payment taken out.
Biometric requested: 20th October 2016
Biometric sent: 24th October 2016
Email from HO: ? none
COA: 26th October 2016
PR:?

It does appear it is taking them 5-6 months to process applications. In the time being, I have requested for our travel documents back.

Just checked my prepaid envelope for what is probably the 1000th time this week and it's on the way. Since it's special delicery and it cost me £11, it should arrive tomorrow morning, so hopefully I don't sleep through the delivery or it comes when I'm out.

I am not optimistic on getting DCPR but will update tomorrow either way.

Hope, it's a good news for you. How can you track prepaid envelop ? I did go for prepaid envelop with special delivery, but don't have tracking. Did I choose something else ?

I applied on 25/06 and changed the addressed. Resent my prepaid envelop against last month with new address.

And I missed it by 5 mins because I went out... So I have to wait for tomorrow or guaranteed Monday.

To track your package, you need the number before you send it off and it'll be in the same format as your first tracking number.
