Thanks Dapson, I hope so because I am really stressed. My ex, worked continuously from 5th May 2011 to 30th November 2016 and I received my decree absolute on 21st January 2017 (that is 5 and half years before divorce). I posted 5 P60s, pay slips for the whole period he worked and P45 for November 2016. pls it is enough for me to get a Permanent resident.

Please see me timeline below. I know it's been just a week since I submitted the Biometrics but I haven't received the COA. Should I enquire about this? And if so, which email address should I use, or should I call?

I know that some of you may have waited longer for the COA, but did you follow up on it when you didn't get one after submitting biometrics?

I'm concerned because I was wondering when the 6-month wait starts ... the date on the COA or the date the application was sent?

Thanks
Hi Danlieb
I've submitted my PR application almost on the same dates as yours.
please do update if you hear from HO and I'll do the same.
thanks

Dear all,

I have been one of those quiet applicants, reading this forum on a regular basis for months on end; now that I have received my papers after seven excruciating months of wait, my timeline below.

A couple suggestions:
- Add a short cover letter if you have particular circumstances that require a bit of explaning, don't assume they will go through every document in detail.
- add an index of all the documents you are sending (will also help you make sure you are sending everything you need to).

Also, I wasn't clear exactly what documents I would receive and how, I received the documents in three packets:
- non-EEA PR card, addressed to non-EEA
- all documents returned + non-EEA passport + letter, addressed to non-EEA
- EEA passport + DCPR + letter, adressed to EEA

Timeline (EU national + non-EEA relative):

Application sent: 27 Sep
Application received: 28 Sep
Payment taken: 29 Sep
Confirmation e-mail: 12 Oct
Biometrics letter dated: 11 Oct
Biometrics letter received: 14 Oct
Biometrics completed: 15 Oct
COA for non-EEA dated: 11 Oct
COA for non-EEA received: 14 Oct
PR card dated: 27 Mar
PR card received: 29 Mar
returned documents received: 30 Mar
completed return passport form: 12 Apr
DCPR dated: 27 Mar
DCPR received: 20 Apr

As you can see, there was a three weeks delay between us receiving the PR and the DCPR (both dated six months after our application, to the day) , so I called the HO a couple times, I found them friendly but not very helpful. In the end, I got the DCPR after completing the return documents form.

Best of luck to you all!

After contacting the HO via the help line , I just recived the below email :
(Thank you for contacting UKVI contact centre. Our records show that your request is under consideration and the appropriate team has been notified that your request is still pending. UKVI hope to action your request as soon as possible)
Can some one tell what they mean by pending application ?

My application was successful and I will get my PR in 10 working days.

The only issue with the letter is that it said "residence card" but when I called the helpline they cleared it up and said it is just a generic letter and I will receive PR.

The only thing that kept me awake at night during the 6 months was the fact that I applied 4 months before my qualifying period (5 years wedding anniversary was February 2017).

My husband got his British citizenship a few months ago so I don't have to wait 12 months to apply for citizenship  :D

Hi there,
My wife (EEA national) is about to apply for her PR.
What documents does she need in support of her application?
She has a 5 year employment history. She is getting her P60 on her email, so it's like printed copy.
Will it be accepted? Does anyone had the same situation?

My wife gets her payslips and P60 through email as well.We sent printed P60(x5) and payslips and luckily it worked for Her and got DCPR.What I have noticed these electronic P60 does say on the top-left "electronic version/copy". I am not sure whether all e-version must say this.
Personally I think and from my experience this should not be an issue but to be on the safe side do mention this in cover letter.
Good luck

I am sorry, I wasn't home when they attempted to deliver so I only picked the post this morning.
I received all my documents back with a letter saying that I will receive my PR CARD within 10 working days.

Letter was dated 03/04/2017

Such a relief.

Good luck to you and to everyone. Believe.

Does anybody know if short coas still accompany the biometrics letter? I.e if the biometrics letter came by itself, would one assume a long coa will follow? Any recent cases that can confirm this would be great.
