Anybody with the same time line with me? Let relate.
Hi Guys

Today I received my package back with a refusal letter. Reason I did not include the ID of my ex spouse. Am confused right now. when we divorced I applied for retention of right(ROR) which was issued to me for another 5 yrs. I have gone 2 yrs into the 5 yrs. I don't know why they need the her ID when she is no longer my sponsor. I mate every other requirements but the ID.

Pls I need advice on what to do next.

Meanwhile my timeline is 4 months and 7 days.
See if you can get a photo copy of your ex ID stamp by a solicitor then reapply

Hello

Could someone please help here. I made my application for PR on 25-Jun-2017, documents received 03-Jul and so far nothing else have happened. No payment taken from my account, no letter for biometric data, nothing. Called their UKVI office a couple of time and they say to wait for home office to contact you and so far nothing again. Any idea what can I do? Thank you

Hey Ya,

Could someone please help me. I am a EEA national applying for PR. I have been working in the UK for basically 6 year. When they say you have to be working continuous during that period, what happens if you quit your job to find another job? This was the case for me in 2013, when i left my job in August 2013 and found a new job by October 2013. I was basically unemployed for 2 and a half months. I was not a job seeker, did not receive any government money. I have enough money to support myself for awhile. Will this effect my PR application as I am going to apply as a EEA worker as thats what I've been doing for all my time, bar that 2 and a half month gap in employment. If someone could give me some advice on this, let me know if this could hold up my application, or if they understand you can leave one job for another.

any advice would be appreciated.
Basically you will need email history of your job applications or any responses from the employers or job agencies during 2 and half period of concern. basically that proves you were looking for job and excercising treaty rights. At least 2 or 3 your sent emails/ responses should be fine.

Hi all,

I have been trying to read through the thread to see if someone had a similar problem to mine but couldn't find anything.

My issue in a nutshell: I've been living and working here since 2006 but I was not registered WRS so I was working continuously from summer 2006 to 30th April 2011 'illegally'. I've had numerous jobs before the below but the relevant ones are:
1st job Jan 2011 - Dec 2013
2nd job Jan 2014 - Mar 2016
3rd job Mar 2016 - present

So ever since the 30th April 2011 passed and I'm not being penalised by the lack of WRS number I've worked 6.5 years fully legally however the first 4 month of '1st job' was still under the WRS system and I don't have a registration.

When I try to complete the online form of the PR card for EEA it asks me why I didn't have a registry and on the last confirmation page it asks me to tick in the box next to providing WRS details but I do not have that.

My dilemma is: will the Home Office automatically reject my application as I wasn't registered in the first 4 months of my first job or will they understand that I'm actually providing them evidence of 100% 'legal' work for the last 6.5 years?

Thank you very much for your help in advance!

I had a similar situation to you, and was approved. I've actually been here since 2007, but never had WRS and was initially a student - which I stated in my application as honestly no one really told me about WRS, no one ever asked for it, etc.

My job history is:

Irrelevant jobs: September 2007 - Feb 2011
Job 1: Feb 2011 - June 2012
Job 2: June 2011 - Present.

I applied with all info and explaining this, and they counted my "qualifying period" of 5 years from April 2011 - in Fact, they counted it from the 5th of April 2011, even though I technically should have had WRS until the 30th.

So they're likely to not count those 4 months toward your "qualifying period", but for me they did count the rest of that employment. So long as you were honest that you didn't have WRS, and write to them about why you didn't have it (didn't know about it, or whatever) you ought to be fine.

Hello there,

We had exaclty the same situation where my wife registered twice with in a month with 2 different employment agencies and then she was taken on permanent through second employment agency.
here is our situation .

1. she applied her PR in 2013 when she included her employment from 2006 (Under WRS). it was rejected as according to WRS regulations u have to stay with one employer for full one year and then u change your job but agencies you know one day work 5 days off....

2. we applied second time her PR now, but all qualifying periods are after 2011 which is fine dont need WRS.

3. what u can do is say NO online that u never had a WRS and explain in cover letter that none of employer ever asked for it>

this is what we have done this time and hope for the best. we are waiting for the outcome of the application.

thing is you cant lie to home office. it is what it is.

so tell the truth and explain in cover letter that all of your qualifying periods are after WRS.

Good Luck :)
