Hey guys

Need clarification please . I just submitted my application to change under eu scheme .
Do I need to upload just my passport proof address and brc?
Do we have to pay to book an appointment ?
Will I send my passport to home office or no ?
How long will it take after submitting my finger print to receive my new biometric card ?

@fbiboy2002

After your appointment at sopra steria. Did you get any confirmation email or text that your biometrics and supporting documents have been uploaded successful?

I hve tried to book the appointment on sopra. it is saying i will need to pay 85 pounds. Does anybody if it is supposed to be free. I am a non eu divorced from my eu wife but have been granted pre settled before the divorce. Even though eu resolution said i don't need to update the card i would rather do it.

Yes and the consent after you sign it

Do we have to pay to book an appointment ?
It's free in most of places but some places with different dates and different service it cost money

Will I send my passport to home office or no ?
No

It depends but after some members here shared their experience doing that it took 8 weeks

Hi,

Yeah i know unfortunately for me the closest point was birmingham and the standard was 85 pounds it is ok i had no choice.

QQ though, I booked my biometrics for 30/01, i am travelling on the 15th May do you think will i already have the new card? If not can i travel with my EEA card in the meantime?

Since the resolution centre told my EEA card will still be valid (I am non EEA and have been granted pre settled but has now divorced from my EEA wife)

Thanks

@inesbankole

I have been told by the resolution center it takes 8 weeks. So yes you should have your new card by may as some people get it earlier.

Well because you have made an application. I am not sure if your current card will have been cancelled.

I personally have left all travels till July as I did my biometrics yesterday.

No

I just want to ask. Since home office returned your brc card after updating it. Have you been able to log in online to view your status with your new brc card?

No still using my old card to log in thanks God that I made few copies of it before I sent it, I start remember the debate in parliament about issuing a fiscal proof of settlement scheme
It looks like I have two different status not connected to each other
The home office still doesn't know how to fully deal with the new things like upgrading our cars ..etc....

Its already cancelled I have checked it
Let me explain how I knew that
When I use this link
https://www.gov.uk/prove-right-to-work
First option is
Do you have status under the EU Settlement Scheme?
If I choose yes and enter my new card number and my date of birth then i see the page says The details entered don't match our records...
But if I put my old card number still can log in and check my status

But if I choose the second
https://www.gov.uk/prove-right-to-work
Do you have status under the EU Settlement Scheme? If I choosed no
And I entered my old card number and date of birth
I see this page

Your biometric residence card or permit is not valid

Your biometric residence card or permit has either:

expiredbeen reported lost or stolen

But if I used the new card number ( settled status card )I can see its valid but with same limited time as I had in my old card , my old card was due to expire on 2022 and online my new card is due to expire on 2022 and they advise me to apply for settled status so I started to ignore all of that mass as I said before I'm applying soon for naturalisation

@fbiboy2002

I am not paranoid but I noticed. I did not upload my previous visas..just the curreny brc card . Do you think I need to upload them as I am exchanging brc card under EU law to the EU settlement scheme?

do you think there is an email or address i can post or is it too late to upload it at sopra steria?

No you don't need to upload anything not required
Its very simple and you just wait for your new card to arrive

To guys fbiboy and askme

Could you please help. My BRC will expire soon and I'm about to lose my job because my industry only believe in physical proof so i have to apply for settled stauts card as I have settled stauts already
Hi have couple of questions please

They say I must provide

Driving licence
Utility bill
Letter signed from GP
Bank statement
And more

Do they mean I need to provide all of them or one of?
Second question is where can I upload my documents as ukvcas says if you apply for settlement scheme you can't upload any documents through our site and you must do it on gov website but i can't see any place where I can upload in gov website

And what do I need to take with me to appointment as I booked with ukvcas

Many thanks
