To guys fbiboy and askme

Could you please help. My BRC will expire soon and I'm about to lose my job because my industry only believe in physical proof so i have to apply for settled stauts card as I have settled stauts already
Hi have couple of questions please

They say I must provide

Driving licence
Utility bill
Letter signed from GP
Bank statement
And more

Do they mean I need to provide all of them or one of?
Second question is where can I upload my documents as ukvcas says if you apply for settlement scheme you can't upload any documents through our site and you must do it on gov website but i can't see any place where I can upload in gov website

And what do I need to take with me to appointment as I booked with ukvcas

Many thanks
As I understand you are talking about upgrading your card and you followed the link in the first page
They only ask for proof of address it can be your driving licence or utility bill or bank statement any of them one will be enough
After you submit your application you will find another link to direct you to sopra steria then you can book your appointment and upload all your supporting documents into it

@fbiboy2002

I want to ask when you went to the post office to post your new brc card to home office to verify.

1) Did you write your name in front of the envelope?
2) Did you post it by special or recorded delivery?
3)how many days did home office take before they returned your card after updating your card
4) can u log online with your new card to view your status online?

thank u

For the consent forms. You sign the one that applies to you

There was only 1 that i did not fill and sign because my answer was no which was the

Does the account with the bank or utility company
for which you have supplied information and
supporting documentation relate to another person
who is to provide you financial support?

For the biometrics..I took the documents to sopra steria and they helped me to scan my documents and took my fingerprinting and photo as I had pay £60 for my biometrics...the document were proof of address, my current passport, My BRC card and the consent forms were uploaded.

PART 1

it is obvious the applicant have to sign which is me

PART 2

Consent for the Home Office to verify third party information
If any information or documentation provided n is in the joint names of the applicant
and another person (or persons), the joint owner should sign

I had provided a joint account bank statement as proof of address..so my spouse had to sign part 2

PART 3

Consent for the Home Office to verify information from third party sponsor
If the information or documentation relates to another person or persons who is to
provide the applicant with financial support, that person or persons* should sign the
following declaration:

I answered No to this one and it was left blank. As I receive no financial support from anyone else as I work and my spouse work. It is a bit of confusing question but I answered No

Hi everyone,

I have applied on 19/12/2019 to update my BRC from pre-settled to settled status and submitted my biometrics on 27/12/2019 in Croydon.

I have not received anything from the Home Office since.

Has anybody been waiting for this long. Also, I'd appreciate if anybody can tell me how to get in touch with them other than by phone because they incompetent and useless

Thanks

Thank you Rose.
When did you actually submit your online application?
Is there any department name and address on the letter of decision you received?

I called main UKVI number and they said to call EU settlement resolution centre and when I call the resolution centre they say it's nothing to do with them. So I am lost
