Hello,
I had a question any advise would be appreciated. When we return the old cancelled brc in an envelope do we simply send it whole uncut or cut it in two halves? The letter I received says to just send back to be securely disposed but I'm a bit nervous doing that of sending it back as an intact document. Has anybody returned the old brc without cutting it?
Hi, just send it back uncut and it's free to post. All this information is available on the APAD email about how to proceed.

Hi All,

My timing:
Applied online somewhere in November
Received APAD email on 8th of December to confirm that I want to proceed with application
Biometrics appointment on 9th of December
Received email confirmation from APAD that my application was procceded 11 January
Didn't receive card yet, should receive in the next few days

As per email received, I should receive my new BRC in the next 7 working days. I need to send my old BRC to them and I can update the information for pre-settled status online.

I was afraid that the process will take more than 2 months as for some other people I saw in these topic. Thursday 7 Jan I sent an email on the back of the first APAD email received to ask about the status of my application. Did not receive a direct reply on my email, but two working days later on Monday 11 January I received an email that my application was decided and I should receive my new card soon. Not sure if my chaser has helped.

Hi guys My timeline for changing my EU RC to EU Pre Settled Status RC:

Form Submission:17/10/2020
Biometrics: 26/10/2020
APAD Email to confirm: 26/10/2020
APAD Email - successful:?
Card Received: ?

Since APAD Email I received, I reply to confirm to and I didn't hear anything, 49 days today.

I would like to ask you guys?

When you reply to apad, is apad sending you any further email like "OK thx you confirm that application now we will start the process etc or they don't send any emails untill you get your decision" because I'm thinking maybe apad didn't receive my confirmation email 😁 Pls let me know thx.

Hi, I have never received any APAD email asking confirmation to proceed.
My reasoning is once you have submitted the biometric data you're accepting the swap from the previous status under EU regulations to the new one ie., British Immigration Regulations.

I didn't receive any unknowledgement of my confirmation email neither. But as described earlier today my application was completed. You can try to message the same email address on the back of the first email as I did to double check if they have received your email and what is the status of your application.

Dear all,

Could you please advise what proof of address did you submit with your application online and whether do I need to provide the documents from different organisations ie bank statement/council tax/HMRC ? Also if that needs to be for last 3 months or 6 months?

Thanks in advance!!

I submitted my driving licence as proof of address, but a recent letter from HMRC, Bank statement or Surgery should be ok.

Application submitted on 15/10/2020
online and found a slot for a paid appointment for 13/11/2020.
I received the card yesterday, 13/01/2021. it's slightly blue and had a chip.
That's strange, mine did not have a visible sim like chip at the back at all. Did you get a ILR card settled status card or pre settled status card ?

Can someone please let me know if anyone has received a EUSS ILR card in Jan 2021. Do you have a visible sim card like chip at the back ? Also the card is more bluish than pinkish?

It's settled status (I've been living and working here for almost fifteen years). Colour-wise, it's more bluish than pinkish.

Of course, there's no card like sim; I was alluding to the small figure above the picture that looks like a SIM card. I do apologise if you felt misled.

Thank you for responding so quickly. So you mean the little pink biometric logo sign on the card. I thought you refered to the old EEA BRC card ,who would have the symbol plus a sim card like visible chip at the back of the card. Thank you confirming the colour and the type of permit. Another question ... Does this new card show your signature ? The old EEA card did. The new cards don't show it right ?

Hi there,

Could you please confirm whether I need to sign and date all 3 three parts of declaration checks forms for home office as I don’t have no joint account nor I’m depending financially on anyone. Do I still need to sign all three form or just part 1?

Thanks in advance!!

No, It doesn't show your signature unlike on the previous one. On the back side, it has three lines of combined numbers and letters; your birthday and names like the one shown on most passports. I suppose it's for electronic reading at the airport.
In a nutshell, it looks like a properly ID card. Good luck. Shalom.
