14/06/2021 settled status decision letter received via email
12/07/2021 biometrics appointment with UKVCAS, was told that I need to wait for a decision letter, wonder if it’s the same as the one I already received, or a different one
19/08/2021 still no decision letter or BRC, is the wait normal
You applied for a replacement?
Yea, I did but now I’m confused whether I will receive a new card or not. I reported “BRP hasn’t arrived” today online and received response below from Home Office. I’m a non-EU citizen and my old RC expired this July.

Thank you for your e-mail of regarding your status under the EU Settlement Scheme (the Scheme).
All applicants granted status under the Scheme receive a secure, accessible online status. They also receive a letter by email to advise them of the outcome of their application which explains their new online status.
You used a valid biometric residence card issued under EEA Treaty Rights when you applied to the Scheme, serial number RDxxxxxx, and so you were not issued with a Scheme card when granted Scheme leave.

Our records show that you have applied for a replacement card to reflect your new leave. Applications are being processed with in order of the expiry date of the EEA Treaty Rights card, not in order of application date.
You have to for a decision email from Apad

Many thanks. Am I at risk of being rejected by APAD when I’ve already received settled status decision letter from Home Office? And it sounds like APAD decision letter will probably take some time to arrive?

No rejection if you have settlement under the scheme

Hi, how long is it taking others to receive brc after biometric appointment. After receiving my eu ss by email i had to apply for brc as it was expired earlier this year. I had biometrics taken around 3 months ago and i am still waiting for the courier or HO to contact me with any update on my card. Wondering how long did it take others in similar cases?

Thanks

Four months after biometrics, and counting. Still waiting. My current EEA card expires in 2023, that's why I think I have zero priority.

May be but my brc expired 6 months ago. Doesn’t make sense that they are issuing it on basis of expiry date. 😞

Can anyone tell me what happens if we miss the delivery of the new Residence Card, please?

We all applied/gave biometrics on the same day and received the new cards for me and son today but I do not know where is the other one (for my daughter). Moreover, we first received her confirmation email (10 days ago) but still no card for her.

How to make sure if it hasn't arrived at my address or if we missed it does it return back to Bristol?

Thanks

Do they contact you first? Where did you get the consignment information/delivery reference?

Hello All,

Good evening!

I finally got an email today Apad @ 2:15pm that my application for change of BRC was successfull & I should received my card within 7-10 working days.

My timeline as follows-
Granted settled status-august 2020
Online application for BRC exchange to Euss-20/4/2021
Biometric submitted-13/5/2021
Apad email application successful- 21/8/2021
Old card expiry-April 2021
Card received-not yet

I don’t have a tracking # should I just call TNT with my name & address & ask them for a delivery date?

I would like to take opportunity to thank everyone for their support & best of luck to all who are waiting.

Congratulations!

Yes, if you want to. TNT were very helpful in my case but bear in mind they can only tell you the status when the card hits their systems so sometimes it’s too short a notice and can’t do much with the info. I called the a number of times and on the day they could tell me the status, they were delivering it. Fortunately I was home. So maybe try everyday.

Like I said I called them multiple times but they were happy to tell me to try again each morning. I stopped on the 3/4 days and when I called on the 6th, card was already out for delivery. Started calling on the 2nd day after I had the APAD email.

Hi,

I finally received the email from Apad yesterday confirming that my application to transfer from a BRC issued under EU regulations to one under EUSS was successful. Here is my timeline:

Granted pre-settled status: December 2020
Online application for BRC exchange: 24.05.2021
Biometric submitted: 28.05.2021
Apad email application successful: 21.08.2021
Existing card expiry: April 2024
Card received: Not yet. Based on Apad's email, it should arrive within 7 to 10 working days.

So, it took almost 3 months from the application date to receive a decision.

Good luck everyone.

Hi All,

New here. My partner is going through the same bureaucratic hell that is BRC replacement after first having to wait 4 months for her pre-settlement status to come through. Her EEA BRC had expired by the time she received her status and the settlement decision letter she received stated "a new residency card will be with you within 10 days" so we assumed she would just be automatically given a new one (she only got her EEA residency card like a year ago and yet they decided to set its expiration date at the same date as the EUSS deadline)

Wish I had checked this forum earlier as we lost an entire month this way. We eventually found out she needed to apply for a BRC replacement separately and she had her biometrics appointment on 27/07, so about a month ago. Now waiting for a decision... We filed a complaint with the home office which was "partially upheld" (i.e. them recognising they made the mistake) and also wrote our local MP but I suppose that won't have any bearing on the processing time of her new card.

I wanted to ask, do they send a confirmation email after youve submitted the BRC or is it just radio silence until they send you confirmation that the new card is on the way? The only email we received is from the agency doing the biometrics, confirming theyve sent it on to the home office.

I must say, Im really just baffled at the way this process is being mishandled by the home office. Really am hoping we dont have to wait another three months as its been 2 years since she's been able to see her family :(

I received my BRP today (waited since April). Now I'm trying to link it to my settled status, but am straggling with it. Can anyone advise how to replace my old BRC with the new BRP in the system?
