you got confirmation email from APAD for BRP Issue in April & card delivered just today?
No, I applied in the beginning of April (submitted biometrics beginning of May). APAD confirmation came a week ago, and I received my card today.

If I knew back then that we don't need to replace old BRC, I wouldn't have applied, as my previous BRC was valid until 2023. And I recently applied for naturalisation, which should be approved by end of this year.

some good news

non-eu partner timeline:

Granted pre-settled status: December 2019
Existing card expiry: November 2020 (we missed that we actually needed to get a new one)
Online application for BRC exchange: Late May 2021
Biometric submitted: 13.06.2021
Apad email application successful: 19.08.2021
Card received: 23.08.2021

now going to upgrade status from pre-settled to settled since the 5 years were reached as well recently.

Hi everyone,
I received my settle status in March 2021. Got my BRC replaced to Settle Status 2 weeks ago. I have already sent my old BRC to home office. Do I now need to send my new BRC by post as well to be updated in the system or just updated it online.

Many Thanks

Hi,

I finally received the email from Apad yesterday confirming that my application to transfer from a BRC issued under EU regulations to one under EUSS was successful. Here is my timeline:

Granted pre-settled status: December 2020
Online application for BRC exchange: 24.05.2021
Biometric submitted: 28.05.2021
Apad email application successful: 21.08.2021
Existing card expiry: April 2024
Card received: Not yet. Based on Apad's email, it should arrive within 7 to 10 working days.

So, it took almost 3 months from the application date to receive a decision.

Good luck everyone.

Can anyone tell me what happens if we miss the delivery of the new Residence Card, please?

We all applied/gave biometrics on the same day and received the new cards for me and son today but I do not know where is the other one (for my daughter). Moreover, we first received her confirmation email (10 days ago) but still no card for her.

How to make sure if it hasn't arrived at my address or if we missed it does it return back to Bristol?

Thanks
Call TNT
What a waste! I have been trying to reach TNT for last 2 days but no luck, waiting on the phone over and over again for an hour, no one answers. Tried online chat a few times that doesn't work either.
I have the consignment number ( I contacted to APAD yesterday) but TNT track&trace cannot find it, which is weird because APAD says it was dispatched 12 days ago. By the way, I applied for 3 cards at the same time and other 2 cards were dropped through my letterbox together, not handed over.

Good afternoon guys, I hope that everyone is well.

I have received confirmation e-Mail from APAD, so I hope that new BRC will arrive soon. My process lasted just over 4 months from submission date until confirmation e-Mail, and just over 3 months from biometrics appointment until confirmation e-Mail.

However, thank you very much and wish you all the best!!

Hello All,

Good evening!

I finally got an email today Apad @ 2:15pm that my application for change of BRC was successfull & I should received my card within 7-10 working days.

My timeline as follows-
Granted settled status-august 2020
Online application for BRC exchange to Euss-20/4/2021
Biometric submitted-13/5/2021
Apad email application successful- 21/8/2021
Old card expiry-April 2021
Card received-not yet

I don’t have a tracking # should I just call TNT with my name & address & ask them for a delivery date?

I would like to take opportunity to thank everyone for their support & best of luck to all who are waiting.
Received my card today…
Any one trying to track their card pls use this link-

Unfortunately no such luck, I emailed to APAD this morning to ask where my 3rd card was and they emailed me back afternoon as follow;

Good Afternoon
Thank you for your enquiry.
Unfortunately there has been a technical issue during the production of the BRC. Your email has been passed to the team who deals with card production. I am sorry but I am unable to give you a timescale for a resolution of the issue.
Kind Regards

I hope it doesn't take a long time to prepare another one :(

Both my Solicitor and the UKVI told me that I will be able to re-enter the UK with the digital status and the solicitor told me to also print out the decision letter. (...) And finally, I called Ryanair and after an hour of waiting it was answered and they said I will be able to use the digital status to board the UK bound flight. After spending hours calling ( average waiting time for UKVI and EU resolution centre is 30 mins) as well as money for consulting solicitor I suppose I now finally have some assurances.
I don't know what to say, only that this does not seem to fit with what other members have reported here. See this post. And this post. And this one. All cases of people stuck abroad because they attempted to come back on electronic status only.

I understand there is a big chance of not being allowed to board a UK-bound plane from abroad if you do not show a physical document. Electronic status only is not accepted, not is any form of email printout you attempt to supply.

I do wish what Ryanair told you is going to be honoured... but I would not bank on it. It took you hours on the phone to get an answer? How long do you think it is going to take at the airport? Ryanair being Ryanair chances are the person you spoke with on the phone will never speak to the person who will be making the decision to allow you in the plane. A least not as quickly as you need them to when you are about to board the plane.

Be careful.
Just want to post an update here. I managed to come back to the UK with just the digital status last Sunday. I travelled from Santander airport from Spain to Stansted. The check-in staff at Ryanair seemed to be aware of the EU settlement scheme. They asked to see the status and luckily I printed out the online page and they were fine with it. :D The border police was a bit confused, she was acting tough at first but I explained my situation and as soon as she scanned the passport she was like "oh yeah, the computer says yes and you can go now". :? Though we almost couldn't board the plane due to our covid test didn't have date of birth on it but luckily we found the correct version sent to our emails just in time. So yeah a lot of issues these days. :|

And I still haven't received the bloody card and it has been 5 month since I submited the stuff they required on the APP :x I sent a complain via the home office website and hopefully can get an update.

In the website gov.com

You can prove your rights in the UK using both: your passport or national ID card. your EU Settlement Scheme application certificate - you would have been emailed your certificate when you applied.

My status linked by old card valid 2022

Hello guys, I hope that you are well.

One quick question, after receiving new BRC, I have submitted a request for details update on GOV.UK

How long does it take to receive an e-Mail that new details have been updated?

Can I travel with my new card, even if I do not receive confirmation e-Mail that my new details have been updated?

Thanks in advance and best of luck!! :)

I have finally received confirmation from APAD that my replacement card has been issued, exactly 20 weeks after biometrics.

Timeline below:

EEA RC expiration date: October 10th, 2023

Application for Settled Satus: Feb 1st 2021
Settled Status granted: March 15th 2021
Application for replacement card: March 15th 2021
Biometrics given: April 16th 2021
APAD email Confirmation of card issued: September 3rd 2021
My posts express what I believe are the facts, based on the best of my knowledge, about the topics discussed in this forum. They do not constitute immigration advice.
