Hello guys, I hope that you are well.

One quick question, after receiving new BRC, I have submitted a request for details update on GOV.UK

How long does it take to receive an e-Mail that new details have been updated?

Can I travel with my new card, even if I do not receive confirmation e-Mail that my new details have been updated?

Thanks in advance and best of luck!! :)
I am in the same situation as you. I have asked this on this forum and another forum. The other forum have asked an immigration lawyer to respond so I will feed back on here.

It should be fine but my concern is the unnecessary questions and delay we may encounter by mostly clueless border agents about these things when it isn’t black and white until they probably get a supervisor or someone up involved.

I am planning to travel in October so I may have sometime for it to update. Not sure about yours. I have researched and timeline for updating ranges from a day to 3 months 😯

Best of luck to us 🙏🏾

Hi, after receiving Apad email, does Tnt contact you before attempting to deliver?
The reference no. in Apad email does not let me track my card. Says its the wrong format. I believe the reference no. is for something else and not my card delivery. How and When do you get the consignment number for tnt?
Thanks

As I previously said, I'm abroad and won't come back home in a while (at least for another month). Not going to worry about it now. If I come back and the card is not there, I'll sort that out when I'm back.

OK my friend who has a key to my house and does some house sitting sent me a picture of a "We missed you" card left yesterday September 9th. So that dates first delivery attempt.

Now my problem is, the TNT consignment number is not accepted by the tracking webpage. There can be many reasons why, but if anyone here could confirm what the format is, that would help me a lot in deciphering where the mistake is.

My consignment number is a 16-alphanumeric one (all digits but for a capital D randomly in the middle which I suspect is just a zero, but still doesn't work). I have read it is usually 9 digits, 13 alphanumeric or "other less common formats".

Any first hand experience greatly appreciated. Need to reschedule this delivery and have a friend wait at home a whole day for this, also, would they need one of my IDs??? Thanks.

With my experience tracking never really works with TNT almost always of its from home office I know of at least 4 such cases 2 of my own personally .
Even for tracking over the phone they have a different number if delivery is from home office.

My advice is to call them direct even if you are outside of UK to get status and rearrange delivery.

Sometimes it is left late to update on their systems or not until it actually hit their systems. I would call them direct to sort this. Or let them deliver as I have heard some just push through your door as long as it is safe.

The consignment number for me was 9 digit number with no letter included which didn't work anyway on TNT's tracking system. By the way, as I mentioned on the other topic, we received 3 RCs and all were pushed through the letter box. No delivery email, no delivery guy at the door, no "we missed you" note, no nothing. Weird

I called APAD to get consignment number however it didn't work on TNT's website. Additionally, I didn't receive any email/sms from TNT before delivery.

My flat no letterbox
We have only letter box shared to all flats because my flat is studio flat

Thanks.
They don’t need your ID
The confirmation email did say " on delivery the courier will require proof of identity and a signature to confirm receipt of the package."
But maybe in reality they don't? I don't know.

Weird
I am still waiting ,,,,, my delivery
How did you receive consignment number?
Did TNT contact you by sms or email before delivery?
I have only reference number application from home office ..
I called APAD to get consignment number however it didn't work on TNT's website. Additionally, I didn't receive any email/sms from TNT before delivery.
It won’t work straightaway or maybe never so don’t rely on that. Call them direct to check status. This is because until the have possession of the card (and it seems sometimes until day of delivery), they don’t enter into their systems. Weird but true. So sometimes on the days tracking shows, they are delivering or delivered it. Weird but true
