Yeh i went there at interview couple of day before . Just want to mention to all of who are going for interview , do not need to be tense or panic Just prepare your self from the day one when you and your partner met. And should remember everything from the day first till the date you are going on interview . I know its quite hard to remember all those things. But i ll give you some example of questions

When and where did you meet?
What time and date was it
Who talked first .
Who exchange the number first
Where does your partner job?
How she go ther?
Who is the employer and does you know her or him apart from your partner?
Who pay the bills?
Which furniture do you have in your room?
Where do you sleep left or right?
Who bought your marriage rings?
How did you go ther at your marriage ceremony ?
About marriage witnesses ?
Where did you go last time together?
Both of your hobbies?
Which film have you seen together
What you normally do at weekends?

And the most important you and your partner should completely know about the pending status of your non eea spouse?
When did he/she has been came in the uk.

These r the questions they most ask,

If you are truly genuine, then do not need to worry , in my point of view, what the most people do actually prepare for to give them same answer and make stories, and then they get trap into interview room. Because they are very professional and can judge you in a very first minute that you are prepaid a full story for interview. The matter is your physical presence and the way you giving answer your body language, must show them you are living together and you are genuine thats it and simple.
Do not prepare yourself too much , go in casual dress and b simple and make sure don't take any further documents or any kind of papers with you as the most people do this stupid things.

Best of luck for your interviews :)

I forgot to ask to be honest. I was carried away that the interviewer was nice to us and I didn't get detained.

I see in your old posts that you were going to contact your MP and Solvit when your 6 months were up, did ever you contact them? Were they helpful? And why did you think they were going to detain you?

What we did was few days before the 6month ends, we called HO and they called us back the next day saying application is still on the process then we decided to contact MP through email in the evening. Week later HO sent an invitation for interview. 2 days after confirming our date of interview, we got a letter from MP that they've emailed HO with regards to our application and they will let us know when they get an anwer. We didn't contact solvit in the end.

We're just paranoid because we read that some people got detained even though they we're claiming that their relationship is real.

Hi Nora & Tati,

Could either of you please let me know how your passports were returned? I recently requested for mine and was wondering how the delivery is made since I'm usually out with my son every day & don't want to miss receiving the passport if they expect an acknowledgement.

Thank you!

I've found the proper legal route to take if the Home Office has not responded to your application within 6 months. It's called "Pre-Action Protocol for Judicial Review". It's basically a letter titled "Pre-Action Protocol Letter" or "Letter Before Claim". You can write it yourself of hire a solicitor to write it for you. And you should either post it or email it to the Home Office at the following addresses:

Email: UKVIPAP@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk

Postal Address:
Litigation Operations Allocation Hub
Status Park 2
4 Nobel Drive
Harlington
Hayes
Middlesex UB3 5EY

More information and all the details can be found here: http://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/proced ... l/prot_jrv

This is also what you can do if you believe they refused your application erroneously. (see above).
