We received the questionnaire , and we filled out and delivered a week ago. Does anyone know how much time Home office will spend to respond ? If so, how long does it goes between the questionnaire and request for an interview??

I would send all these pre-action protocol letters, emails, FIO requests, contact Solvit and MP right on the 6 month "anniversary" of my application. I would prepare them a couple of days in advance, myself or through a solicitor, and send them when 6 months run out -- to the day. I would be polite, of course, but demanding. If you are absolutely sure about your abilities to pass the interview, I would go; otherwise I would say "it's too late for interviews, you've had 6 months for that".

I'm not afraid of the interview, it's just annoying to wait so long for an answer. I am married to my husband for real, and have nothing to hide or lie about. But it had been so nice to have peace and calm and know that my husband can stay legally in this country. I'm tired of waiting. I will travel with my husband, I want vacation :)

Any more good news from april applicants?
Hi all the April applicants, especially those who are waiting to hear from the home office like me.
I had all the documents back (including my husband's passport) from the home office today with the letter (dated 25 Sep) saying that I should receive my card (RC) within 10 working days! :D

I moved to a new place in the middle of July and have not informed of the change of the address to the home office. The landlord is still looking after my mails and this way I was able to receive the package from the home office that was delivered to the previous address today.

Here, I have one question...there is a note in the letter I received today saying, "on delivery of new card, the courier will require proof of identity and a signature to confirm receipt of the package."
I am a little concerned about what will happen when the courier comes to the house I used to live. Nobody can receive my RC on my behalf. I will tell the landlord to ask other tenants not to mention to the post man that I moved out. Will he still leave a notice paper for me? Does anyone has a similar experience like me? :?

great advice about solicitors, Ablat! completely agree with you - try to avoid them at any cost!!! as they might also lower your chances to get the RC and create suspicion from the part of HO.

No my wife don't apply
And I change my address ones may cos was dated 5 June after and request our passport and some document back June 12 my first eea family permit was refuse back in 2013 and I appeal I won the appeal 2014 but they never call me to come for my visa so i apply for new family permit to come here 2015 and it was issue free of charge in 2 working days I don't put much document those just her payslip some photos her boss sing and stamp one paper like that and bank statement.

And small advice for future applicant my eea that was refuse is via solicitor here in the UK that scam me and my wife out of 1200 pound the name is London visa
My advice never use any one of the is your case is not complicated using them some time make HO think twice

Hey Putin, I suggest write to your MP that you've been waiting for over 6months now and you even had interview. I will write to them next week if tomorrow comes and we wont receive anything from them.

Hello everyone. My question is a little off topic here but it's still relevant to the general discussion on this forum.

I already have a RC and now I want to make sure that I will be prepared to apply for a permanent residency card when the time comes. Does anyone know for sure if the following arrangement makes the EEA spouse a "qualified person":

I'm non-EEA and I have a 5 year residency card.
I have my own business, a PLC.
My wife, who is EEA national, works for my company as a part-time employee.
She is also a director and owns a small part of my company.
Does that make her a "qualified person" for the purposes of exercising treaty rights?

Some immigration adviser told me that it's not allowed because it creates some sort of "circular" arrangement in which I'm allowed to be in the UK, work and run my business only because my wife is a qualified person, but my wife is a qualified person only because she works for my company.

I'd appreciate any help with this situation. Thanks.

Hi guys

We got bad news today also, we got refused. What can we do now, can we complain about the desicion. it said: that you have failed to provide any proof that you are the family member of an EEA national, therefore you have failed to meet the criteria as set out in regulation 17(1) (b)

We have given them the islamic marriage cerficate from june 2014, and civil partnerchip from february 2015
a lot of picture together, and with our families, and text message, phone call, what moe can we give them?

Please any idea
