I have been reading your post and I really do feel sorry mate... but when I read your post and then I thought why they refused your application? only reason comes up to my mind is that, they are so dearly beloved and unreliable people. I suppose they thought that you have been disturbing them and they just wanted to refuse ur application even thought you provided all necessary documents. Because all these home office workers and this bullshit UKBA wokers are just a piece of shit....

What countries are you and your wife from, Samelain? In regards to your trip, couldn't you fly out and then return to the UK on another family permit? Let's hope the refusal letter will come back with something that is quite easy to provide...

We are still waiting for the refusal letter but the only logical conclusion we can think of is that of a marriage of convenience. I can understand them thinking that as I applied 2 weeks after our marriage and I had 7 months left on my tier 1 psw visa, But to not even give us a chance to confirm their doubts is really heart breaking

Based on our refusal we will decide which course to take, appealing or reapplying.

If its due to them not being satisfied with the validity of our relationship then we will appeal as we have the proof and any sane person in court cant prove a relationship of 2 years is a convenience marriage.

If it is missing documents then all we can do is reapply

Whats painful is that they could have arranged an interview, dropped by for a house call or even just request more evidence or the relationship prior to our marriage. But they did nothing of the sort, they waited the full 6 months to pass only to refuse....
EEA 4 applied - 15th November 2015
COA received - 18 Jan
Application Refused: 15th of April
Appeal: 16th of April
Reconsideration Letter sent: 16th April
Reapplied EEA 4: 24th October 2016
Payment Taken: 28th October 2016
RC: 23 May 2017

Mate I can understand the Stress up after 6months of waiting, I strongly believe their refusal decision was an error, However they left you with just 2 Options which are appeal or re-apply,since you still have right to be here in my own opinion I will advice you to first wait for their written refusal letter and stop worrying so much as the letter could ease off the stress. best of luck.

These comments are inflammatory and unnecessary.

Facts please.

Which of the multi-cultural mix of ukba workers are dearly beloved? The black ones? the indian ones? the pakistani ones? the white ones? the mexicans? the middle east? the chinese? the dalai lama?

I also wanted to respond to that guy's rude comms. I have had many clients where they simply terrorised the UKBA (through my advice) by sending them constant letters, emails, faxes, MP involvement etc. Not even once so far has it resulted in the negative outcome. It all depends whether you tick all their boxes or not, they cannot refuse even if they very much want to where all the docs have been provided.

Whereas you my friend have shown complete disrespect towards the whole of the UKBA who include people from all ethnic backgrounds. Incompetent they may be, I doubt they have time to be dearly beloved.

Guys , as some one who has been in the position of frustration I know some comments are made in anger. I am sure he does not mean ALL the ukba case workers are dearly beloved, this person might be feeling victimised and ends up lashing out so please be patient with them

I have just got off the phone with an immigration lawyer and he confirmed that the UKBA does tend to reject applications made by couples of a african/asian and eastern European background. Its just that most of the sham marriages are under this category.

She urged me to appeal, not only for my sake but for all the ones who have been rejected or will be as the home office needs to know they cant just discriminate

This comes straight from the lawyer who has worked with EEA applicants for over 10 years

I'm Malaysian and my partner is a Belgian.. I hope everything will go smoothly for us... we both had no criminal records and my partner is in a stable full time employment.. we ticked all the boxes too.. somehow, it still take ages for the application to process... It is just a clear incompetent!!!

I am sorry but you are completely out of line. We are on this forum to support each other and not to fight let alone use rude language. I ask everyone to show some self restraint and focus on how we can be helpful.

I am indeed frustrated, stressed, angry and annoyed with the UKBA but I do not think however that the UKBA is dearly beloved. They may be incompetent and badly organized, sure, but I honestly believe we apply to live in a decent country, which the UK is. If some of us have such negative feelings about the country in which we wish to live, then do reconsider your position.

And now, let us focus on the positive and be hopeful.

Goodnight.

I think Savanahlion is simply doing a very bad impersonation of a frustrated, failed applicant. I don't believe for one moment he is a genuine poster.

Obviously has his reasons and best to ignore.

I understand this forum is to give the best possible & good advise to the people seeking help or looking for information. In my opinion UKBA arn't dearly beloved, If they were then none of us would be here(goes to people from Asian/African background).

I'm from Asian background, overstayed by nearly 3 years, had deception on me. Still got my RC within 2 months! you can read my timeline going flicking back the pages (13th Jan 2012).

I believe people do get frustrated at times specially when only limited information is provided to the applicant by UKBA. But trust me people we all are(people related to EU citizens) in much better position than the rest of the people out there. It's just the matter of time. Think positive and always hope for the best.

Thanks
GOD BLESS

The refusal came and as discussed it is due to the home office believing it was a marriage of convienience

The refusal letter states that we needed an interpreter at our wedding which is totally untrue, my wife has a great command of the english language

and the sad - or funny in this case - thing is we have a video of us at the wedding doing our vows

The letter then goes to state that there was no interaction between me and my wife at the wedding!

it feels like a template they send to all marriages they feel are fake!!

I am fuming at the amount of lies on this refusal and the funny thing is the report which indicates all this was made on the 19th of June, the day of the deadline

Which feels like a rushed job just to meet a deadline, our lawyer said to send the refusal letter first thing monday which we will do

Its crazy but here is valid proof that there is some sort of discrimination going on. They state that they were at our wedding which they werent and that me and my partner could barly understand each other which is a blatent lie!!
Definitly appealing this decision!
