I'd advise you to send a complaint in writing to their complaints department. They are obliged by law to issue a COA immediately. You can quote 17 (3) of the Immigration (European Economic Area) Rules 2006 to back you up:maviesk wrote:Hello,
Sent our application on March 17th and have yet to receive a certificate of application, is this normal? Looking at the last few pages, it seems that most people got letters within a few weeks, but it's now been well over a month for us. Starting to get worried.
The complaints dept for the EEA applications is as follows: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... complaints.17 (3) of the Immigration (European Economic Area) Rules 2006 wrote:17(3) On receipt of an application under paragraph (1) or (2) and the documents that are required to accompany the application the Secretary of State shall immediately issue the applicant with a certificate of application for the residence card and the residence card shall be issued no later than six months after the date on which the application and documents are received.
Best of luck
