I have been waiting on the RC for more than four months now and it is a bit annoying. We sent the application in the first week of November and received the COA within a month. I had requested the passports back before receiving the COA and the passports were returned in 20 days ( cant complaint about the time frame). But now it has been four months one week and I am getting a bit annoyed. Just needed to rant about it for now.:(

cheers

Hi marimba, congrats! Amazing that you got it in less than a month. Could you share the details? Your nationality.. Did you get married? Are any of you self employed?

I applied eea1 and eea2 on the 31st December and got the coa on 28th January. Still no rc.. I really need to be able travel because of my work..I'm a journalist. I'm thinking about sending an email to them explaining I need to travel because of my work. What do you guys think? Should I get my MP involved or is it too early? When I see people getting in less than a month I don't understand why I am still waiting..

It seems October 2012 was definitely not a good time to apply.
Not sure what's happening, but we had all the docs in order but still waiting.
Hope I won't have to involve my MP.

EEA2 and EEA1 sent: 08/10/12
HO received: 09/10/12
COA dated: 16/10/12 (with rights to work)
RC: ???? still waiting...

Im an October applicant as well. As I said before it seems like our case worker is a useless person, I still cant believe how people who applied in Dec, Jan and EVEN Feb are receiving their RC so quick, madness. UKBA is the worst thing in the world, I hope they have something to give them a feedback of the process to give them the worse feedback ever. Anyway, I requested my passports back last week so tomorrow it would be 7 days, they would have to arrive very soon so I will share my case as soon as I can. Good luck to everyone!
