Hey all, I was amazed to receive my RC yesterday!! As, its only been three weeks since I applied!! Here is my timeline

EEA2 sent 25/02/13 UKBA received 26/02/2013
COA sent 27/02/13 I received on 2/03/2013 with work
RC Issued 4/03/13 I received on 20/03/2013!

I haven't seen a faster RC issue time on this forum! :D :) :D

I sent the usual documents (passports with the same last name, photos, application form, both bank statements, council tax all with the same address as parters). Partners contract letter with the changed surname, payslips, as well as one relationship report documenting our relationship (photos, Skype, airline tickets, immigration stamps on passport mentioned as proof of travel) since 2010 when we met until we got married in Dec 2012 with a wedding in Feb 13.

Thanks to everyone that helped me on this form! All the best guys!
Congratulation you are one lucky one, good luck
GOD BLESS!!!

Here is my timeline... I am worried it will take more than 6 month.

EEA2 sent: 20th Oct 2012
EEA2 Received: 22nd Oct 2012
COA received: 30th Oct 2012
Requested Passport back: 06th March 2013
Request Passport back again : 18th March 2013

I am planing to request the passport again by phone this time next Tuesday 26th. So it will be 20 days since I requested my passport.

This is a big shame... And in the end, they are the one that want to create a fairer and more equal society...

October applicant WITH RC

Post by flipper77 » Thu Mar 21, 2013 4:45 pm

My timeline is below - I am also an October applicant - I received my RC over a month ago.

As I've said before, I had complained to the UKBA about the time it took to return passports, and I assume that because of this complaint (and the complaint being escalated, as they didn't respond in the normal timeframe), they processed my application, mostly just to keep me quiet.

During the time they were responding to my complaint, there were exchanges of phone calls and emails, and in all correspondence I have been polite and kept to the facts - I'm sure this didn't hurt either!
EEA2 Application sent: 09/10/2012
Received by UKBA: 10/10/2012
COA received: 19/10/2012 (dated 17/10/2012)
Passports requested: 14/11/12, 28/11/12 & 12/12/12 (email) and 11/12/12 (mail)
Passports received: 17/12/2012
RC received: 14/02/2013

Maybe ukba is not in environment friendly policy and keep too much paper and files in their offices which cause delays.

October applicant as well. Tomorrow will be 10 working days since I request my passports back and no response. I will send the request again next week. No worries fellas (October applicants), we are on the same boat so this would be fixed soon as it can't be like that. Fingers crossed for everybody and good luck!
Keep posting updates, please to know what's happening.

I'm also an October applicant and we're still waiting...
I wonder what happened in UKBA that they are issuing people their RC within a month or two or even just a few weeks... and the rest are waiting up to 6 months and more.

If our waiting time goes beyond 6 months, we should definitely make a group complaint or something.

Go together out side any ukba office with shame ukba banners and record your protest. If you do this together then may be ukba will fast their work.
Best regards

Hey Guys,

I went through this forum and found us there and our timelines. I am also an October applicant and we should really do something about that.

Some important email/number found also in this forum:

UKBA NUMBER: 01516725626

Progress after 6 months: nationalityprogress@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk

Request your passport: LiverpoolEuro.PassportReturns@UKBA.gsi.gov.uk

Complaint: UKBACustomerComplaints@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/about ... complaint/

"Try copying in: Rob.Whiteman@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk (Chief Executive of UKBA)."

Guys, I think if we all sent the same email to Progress and copy complaint and the Chief Executive we can make some noise.
Also explain and give some example of people who got their RC in less than 2 months... while ours will soon be 6 month soon since we applied

I might have made myself some enemies by posting this, but I just want to state the obvious.
I hope I don't offend anyone by putting their Username and timeline down. Please understand that we have applied last year and still haven't received anything.
Imagine if it was you still waiting for your RC instead of receiving it in 2-3 months.

Also Congratulation to the following who have received their RC in record time. (I promise, I am not being sarcastic)...

Very good post Ishy. Very helpful.

Thanks a lot and we should do something about it. Something fishy going on with October application i guess.

I've tried this number 01516725626 a couple of times but no luck, the only answer I got is "Your application is under process and you have to continue waiting"
It sucks...

As the email suggests, this is for British nationality applications updates and not for applications under EEA regulations.

ıshy that is such a good idea. I'm a september applicant but i recieved my COA at 15 october. It is my last 3 tree days for my 6 months. I made a complaint at 7th of March. They didn't answer me but 2 days later they sent a fax to my husband's work place and asked if he is still working there. Yesterday my best friend recived her RC. She got her COA at 22 Jan and yesterday her RC.

I was so happy for her but also so annoyed because of my situation. So send 2. complaint.

I belive that the same letter can be effective more.

Hi...
I suggest to all of you wait 2 more weeks before doing anything and then we should make a plan and we all should send email on the same day to UKBA.
