Well, That's a bit odd, Either they call for interview or do a home visit, I think it vary's from one case worker to another. I'd advise call HO and ask about your progress, You may get any update, or they may sort out an interview for you, On the other hand you might receive RC soon ;)

One of my friend applied on 5th February, Got decision 20th July, Refused, Interviewer wasn't sure, 5 questions were wrong. I have a doubt it's more like political than on merit. They just don't want you to have Visa.

Thats super fast  I wonder why some take ages (which are also simple applications) and some take a few weeks. Lucky for you but so unfair for some :(

There were 3 officers, 1 lady and 2 male, came around 6:30 AM,
I am also worried cause I never heard that if somebody went for interview and later they come for home visit
I guess my bad luck,
Anyway, I am worried as I wasn't at home that time, but they checked all my stuff, bank statements, posts, clothes etc...
Should I be worried?

Good day eveyone
I hope that I am posting this in the correct place. I have recenty obtained a 6 month family permit valid until January 2015.

I will be arriving in the UK in earky Jan 2015 and will be looking to remain permenantly. From what I can gather, i will need to fill in EEA2 application form in order to apply for a Residence card which appears to take a few months to process.

My Question is, Would I be allowed to remain in the UK on an expired family permit while my RC application is being processed ?

Any feedbank would greatly appreciated or point me in the direction of a thread that has already covered a similar situation.
