Wrote letters to liverpoor office but nothing received from them.
Sent email today and asked for the reason of delay.
Received reply:
Your application remains under consideration. We will contact you when the application is finalized. I am aware of the processing timescales. I am unable to conclude your application due to ongoing inquiries. I am satisfied that the delay is fully justified.
I replied:
Thank you for your email. According to the EEA law, your office is bound to take decision of my case within 6 months of the receipt of application. I understand that there is an ongoing inquiries but there was enough time for your office to inquire anything since I applied 7 months ago. But unfortunately you did not mention the reason of the delay.

Did your office ever realized that I have 2 daughters and parents awaiting desperately to meet me? How difficult is to explain my visa issue to my small daughters? My wife is also worried about my visa. She feels depressed due to the lengthy visa process. I am unable to get a job because employers are reluctant to offer me a job in the present circumstances.

Your 'so called' enquiries on my case are not only damaging my personal life but also not according to the rules and regulations of EEA family migration act.
I would like to know what exactly is happening on my case.

UKBA replied:
Thank you for reminding me of the requirements of the EEA regulations. I am familiar with these.
I have advised that enquiries are continuing. I am not prepared to elaborate further than that.
If you are not content with the handling of your case it is for you to decide what action you wish to take.
I am satisfied that the delay on your case is justified, and that until enquiries are completed I am not in a position to make a decision on your case

I don't know what to say after this reply. They have no heart and feelings for us. What do you advise guys?
Wow they did not give you any explanation at all. Did you have any interview mate? What was your visa status when you applied?

No interview or home visit. HO did not give any reason of delay after nearly 7 months. I am living with my EU national wife for 2+ years but married in June last year.

Maybe they r doing further research about genuinity. It made me confused why you had 2 daughters awaiting for u. Are u not living with ur daughtersin the uk? if u were married before or whatsoever complexity, maybe that lengthen the process. its good to wait or submit further evidences or proofs of ur relationship genuinity.

I know - I'm super impatient as well and even though I know it's only coming up on 3 weeks for us, I want it to be done NOW. I lived in Denmark before moving to the UK and Brits (and partners) in Denmark have it so much easier. Everything is done pretty much immediately with a residence card sent out within a week or two.

I am laughing in hysteria at the UKBA reply to your inquiry, really 7 months justified? Well I have answer for her and I can guess that is Linda Bateman? If you are content with waiting, you may wait, if you want to force a decision, issue a JR and quickly pursue them with cost. They are not allowed to do that in law.

Haha, yeah - I know what you mean. I'm glad I've got a holiday that I can look forward to in September but it would be nice to have a long weekend away somewhere. :-) I'm just glad that I can work in the meantime and be with my husband - much better than being stuck back in the US (or Denmark) without him.

Hi all.
Just wanna share my timeline;
Oct 27,2014 posted our EEA2/EEA1 application (unmarried partners)
EEA1 sponsor exercising treaty as a student.
We've been together since 2008 with joint bank accounts, tenancy agreement & council tax both in our names.
Oct 28, 2014 acceptance letter rcv from HO
Nov 19, 2014 rcv COA with right to work
Jan 12, 2015 attended interview in Liverpool(required as I was an overstayer)
Brought our updated documents including marriage contract as we got married in 5th of nov 2014., photos, job contact and 1st payslip as EEA1 sponsor found a job and at the same time doing his school works 15 hours a week through online.
Checked my bank statement HO haven't taken the money until now. Is this normal?
Reading the thread mostly some applicant rcv their RC in 3months span. I hope will rcv ours this month. Will just have to trust in God and stay positive.

The interview was ok. Very relax. My husband is Irish and he was interviewed first. It took him 40 mins. Followed by mine which only took 15mins. The case worker said it was only to confirm if our answers are the same. As far as I could remember she only asked me 10 questions.
