Hi Berith

My husband is also still waiting for his eea2 since June2008, i read your post and you mentioned something like SOLVIT. I am Polish aswell like your husband, how can i get in touch with them so they can help us with this matter as it's taking ridiculous amount of waiting.

Hope to hear from you soon

Hi Kasienka! thanks for writing

I am so sorry to hear about your husband's story with his EEA2, When did you apply? how long have you been waiting?

I am in the middle of the process at the moment, it's been exactly 3 months and 13 days since I applied. My problem was that I didn't receive my COA but after 2 long months of waiting which stopped me from working and having an ID, that's why we contacted SOLVIT Poland.

http://www.solvit.gov.pl/
Above you will find the link for the website of SOLVIT in Poland, give them a call and speak to:

Marta Krajewska

Centrum SOLVIT Polska
Ministerstwo Gospodarki
Departament Spraw Europejskich
Plac Trzech Krzyży 3/5
00-507 Warszawa
tel. +48 22 693 53 60
faks +48 22 693 40 80
solvit@mg.gov.pl

She is very helpful and because of them I got my COA. Give them a call and let me know how it goes! anything else you need, just write me!

Good luck and keep in touch

Hi everyone

This number is really working, i called HO Liverpool and they told me that my husband's eea2 which was applied for at 28 June '08 is now " INDOOR", which means his passport is waiting to be stamped.

Good luck

First you choose option number 3-return passport etc.
After option 2-for eea, swiss and family members

Good Luck

Hi

We sent a lot of complaints to HO e-mails,fax,calls+letters, they didn't get back to us. To be honest i don't know why his application is indoor before yours-maybe cause i applied at same time with my husband for eea1

East Europeans need residence card (application eea1 to get one ) for non eea applicants to be able to apply.

VICTORY!!!

Post by kasienka87 » Tue Feb 10, 2009 3:51 pm

Hi all

Guess what? Miracles do come true. HO called my husband today to let him know that he will be receiving his resident document in a week's time through the post. The document is stamped 29 January 2009 - 29 Jan 2014. We applied at 28 June 2008-7months and 1day. She further mentioned that they received my complaints through NWCSU even when we didn't get any reply for the complaints.

Finally we can live our life without waiting for postman.

If there's anything we can help with feel free.

Friends, I am really happy that some of you have got residence permit.

I am in a real need of helf. I applied for my residence permit in Sept 2008. And its now nealry six months, I talked to the lady in HO she said it under consideration. fair enough,

I have requested them to send my passport back as we have travel out.

My problem is that my original Visa expired in NOV 2008. So to come back to UK after 15 days trip, I need a EU family permit.
I called the British embassy in Cyprus (my wife's country) they don't give any inoftmation on phone about visa.

My concern is what are the rules to get a family permit and if this is a long waiting thing as well.
and if they will issue me a family permit from cyprus or they would ask me to apply from my own country that is India.

Please advise the crieteria and rules for EU family permit.

Many Thanks in advanced

Tyro

There is an organisation called Solvit

http://ec.europa.eu/solvit/site/about/index_en.htm
Why SOLVIT?
The Internal Market offers citizens and businesses many opportunities. You may want to move to another country in the European Union, to study, to work, to follow your partner or to enjoy life after retirement. Or you may want to set up a business or sell your products or services in another EU Member State

While the Internal Market generally works well, mistakes are sometimes made. For example, you might have problems with getting a residence permit, getting your professional qualifications recognised or registering a car......................

.......Sometimes these problems arise because of a lack of information about your rights in Europe and about how procedures work in other EU Member States. In such cases, the "Your Europe" portal on the Europa website can help to clarify matters.

But if you are already well informed about your internal market rights and have tried in vain to exercise them in another EU country, SOLVIT is there to help you.
Regards
