I think EEA applicants are only issued the RC or PR document straight away, no CoA required. In my husband's case he got his PR doc (no CoA) within 2 weeks of applying.

Thought I share my waiting time for EEA4 to process.

EEA4 application sent 30/AUG/2011
Received by HO 31/AUG/2011
COA received 19/SEP/2011 dated 14/SEP/2011

Passport delivered with PR 02/DEC/2011 PR sticker dated 26/OCT/2011

Overall 3 months wait. Still don't understand why they keep the passport a month long after the sticker is approved?

Good luck to those waiting still.

Congrats! Just on time for Christmas.

Drill through this thread, quite a few people have the EEA3 and COA for EEA4 arrived at the same time. Doesn't anyone have different experience? I've submitted a joint application with my EEA husband, but only COA for EEA4. Is it HO normal practise?

Hi guys,

After a few days search of a missing SD parcel with Royal Mail. We finally got hold of the silver envenlope. It was my husband's passport and his PR in it. Insterested thing was his PR was issued on a blue card (thought they put it on the passport). The issue date was 22/11/2011 - the same day my COA is issued and the HO posted on 14/12/2011. Parcel went missing till yesterday finally got into our hands.

Next mission will be waiting for mine then.

hi,,
First i think they will send u soon, just i guess because of the festive season and holidays it might have caused some delays..

but you mentioned that you applied for yourself as you have retained right of residence and your ex along with your child.. at the same time and you are already divorced, I hope you put them in different envelopes.. because you no longer count as a family member of an eea because you have retainded your rights of residence..

thx

keep us updated please..

Hi, thanks for reply. No I sent them in one pack. But in my EEA4 cover letter I have mentioned the reason for applying together is that the documents needed are same ie, pay slips, bank statements, bills etc of my x. Also we have to be in touch because of the child. But do you think it will be a big problem?

Dear All

I hope you are having a good weekend. I sent eea3+eea4 application together to the address mention in EEA3 application form.

Total weight of my applications package was 1.13 kg and cost me £9.30 to sent.

Anyways I put these documents..

1) Passport/Ids
2)Marriage certificate
3)Work History of my EEA partner of 5 yrs that include tax papers pay slips and as she was not working for 1 month I mentioned in cover letter and also in the application form and I also put an email printing which shows that some one from recruitment was asking her weather she still looking for work or not..
4) current job contract of my EEA partner and pay slips and p45 forms
5) tenancy contract and letter from old landlord as we didn't have contract that time.
6) bank statements I think 3 in total of our joint account...
7)broadband contract on my eea partner's name
8) her crb check
9) some photocopies of NI/EHIC
10)Part time student card and acceptance photocopies
11) some travel tickets showing we both traveled together
12) copy of visa of my family when they visited my wife's family
13) some of police certificates on my name which i gathered during the past year
14) wrs documents/blue card of my wife

i didnt add my job contract as they didn't ask.. can some one tell me please if its still needed or not... i can send it if its important ...

the pain was filling 5 yrs hitory of traveling together but bless my wife's little cotton socks she save the tickets etc as memory so it was sorted

now waiting for the time if i will or not will have eea 4 and my partner eea3..

thanks again guys
