Update

As the FTT refuse the Home Office appeal to go to Upper tribunal where they raised the question about the evidence we provided in court were not sufficient for PR application and the tribunal reject that points and refuse Home office appeal to go upper court. Long time i waited for the final decision from Home office but they are quite since, today i have contacted my local MP and he will contact home office about my case. wish me good luck everyone.

Hi Guys ,

Congratulations to all those who have received their PR cards.

Last week I submitted a request for return of documents as the mortgage company required original passports.
I hope this request will not affect my application. Three months have gone past since I submitted my PR application. Another three months to go

However, I have some new supporting documents to strengthen my application.
Do you guys think it is appropriate to send them to HO?

Regards

Oh Boy Sillycrab! I thought you already requested your passport back in June?
I requested my wife EU nationals passport back on 14/06/16 and went through hell to get it back on the 26/07/16
You better request it back ASAP as its now taking longer to get documents back and in your case you are requesting for your passport so I don't think they will sent it back if the RC has expired

hi ill_gremlinx,

i did not request the return of the passports in June as i told the mortgage advisor i do not want to do that just in case it ruins my PR application. but now the lender required it to complete the mortgage offer.
I do believe a successful mortgage offer will strengthen my PR application .

I have already submitted the request to HO on 4th of August hopefully i will get my documents back in 10 working days. I did not withdraw my application so HO should still process my application.

my EEA residence card did expire in July. but with the COA that confirms my application and my right to work, i hope everything will be OK.

as I mentioned in one of my earlier post, my EEA husband has not applied for PR. I'm wondering after i receive the documents back, he might be able to submit a new application for himself ?

OK - Following from my last post, I need to ask something related to payment. As mentioned below I have applied with my partner who is EEA national both for permanent residence and document certifying permanent residence.

I sent the application on the 1st August and my payment was taken 3rd August. They have not taken the any payment fro my partner though??? Am I missing anything? I thought EEA nationals are also required to pay?

Any similar experience? Just to give a bit of context; we have submitted two separate application forms and used our personal banks accounts which are separate.
alexandrette wrote:Hello Everyone!

I have submitted my PR application as a family member of an EEA national together with application form for document certifying permanent residence of an EU national (my partner).

We have submitted original documents as guidance requires you to do so. Our application included all relevant documents, bank statements, bills, pay slips, tenancy agreements, evidences that we have been living together etc. My partner has been exercising his treaty rights in the UK for almost 15 years. In our application we have only covered the last 5 years. The first three years of the last 5 years my partner was medical student with some part time employments as a researcher. The last two years he has been employed by NHS. I am in full time employment for the last 7 years. We both have included letters from employers, payslips etc. We have also provided his EHIC card as comprehensive sickness insurance covers the time he was student and still valid.

We have been together for 7 years, 5 years in civil partnership. He is Italian and i am Turkish. We have always lived together so we had no problem putting evidences together.

It has been very laborious exercise as ever and our package weighed 5 kilos!! Costing £50 to post including self addressed envelope.

I am slightly concerned as after the Brexit every European friend i know who lives in UK is applying for document certifying permanent residence. Would this cause further delays?

The idea of all this is exhausting. Especially in the very beginning like today when you know this will take long time with nightmares.. I was here at the time i had made my application for Residence Card 5 years ago and had a great support by then. I have silently followed the forum. Now back again for longer ride!

Good luck to everybody who are going through the same process.

Hope you are all doing well . Well here is my story in short:

Sent my EEA4 together with my spouses ( EU national) EEA3 form on the same day. Delivered to HO the next day (23/06/16)
Payment taken the week after(30/06/16).
I have a question regarding CoA . Almost 6 weeks later still no letter, no email, no CoA - nothing at all!! My partner on other hand has a email with reference number from HO but not me  Have you guys received it ?! : :| how long did it take on average?
My employer urgently needs to see prove of right to work in UK or else I am losing the job that I love :|
I spoke couple of times with those at HO to be told " that we are not sending CoA anymore " ?!!
Can this be true - I seen other things here on forum.
Did anyone here requested a CoA from HO ? Any email, phone number would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

@ benito, u will not get coa if u haven't done your biometric, as non-European.
I noticed you have not done biometric yet according to your time line.
You may need to chase your biometric letter for enrolment first, by calling them and also try by emailing.

@ small pie ,

I did suspect this a bit tbh :| The point is, those on the phone line are so unhelpful and ineffective
Different caseworkers keep telling me different things.....
Did anyone here ask for biometrics?! What phone number and email or address did you use?!

Many thanks,

Hi Benito,

Email them at eurobiometrics@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk with your home office ref if known, dob and your adresss. They will get back to you within 10 days
However, note that the biometrics letter is taking 4 to 6 weeks to arrive and another 7 days to expect the COA

Update

My case is still with HO specialist appeals team (Today I have contacted them through my local MP). The expiry date of appealing to UT is passed already. So my question are they able to late appeal for permission to UT or they will issue PR.

Hi Following from the below, my partner (EEA National) has now received an e-mail with his case ID acknowledging his application. There is still no payment taken from him. My payment has been taken but on the contrary heard nothing yet.

This is weird. Any similar experience??? I would appreciate a bit of support here.

Thanks

our permanent residence cards had finally arrived !
below is my timeline:
we done as joint application for PR (I am EU and my husband non-eu as my dependant)
Application first send: 01/02/2016, not money taken out of the account, 45 days later on 15/03/16 everything was sent back to my house saying they could not withdrawn the money of my account. I then found out the expire date on the credit card was wrong. I was annoyed by the fact that I kept calling to the "helpline" for the fact that the money was not taken and for 4 weeks they said it was normal and I should wait
anyway we resent everything back on the same day: 15/03/16 with postal order this time
Biometrics letter for my husband received on 27/03/16
Coa letter received for him on 24/04/16
his Biometrics card received 16/9/2016
our passports and my permanent residence card also arrived on 16/09/2016 in a different envelope

so at the time that we sent our application the average processing time was 4 months for EU, even with a dependant non-eu, I guess now with the brexit things are slower but it coming out on the 6 months sharp!
I have a very straight application case as I have been continuously working for the past 10 years without any gap, all paperwork needed in place as well a british son which I had proved his rights 4 years ago
for this experience I can tell that every single case is different and unfortunately we depend on whomever take your case really. for instance I have read before when they have a problem withdrawing your money in some cases they will send a letter asking for an alternative payment. I guess we were just unlucky!
Good luck everyone!

-Application fee (credit card): 04/04/2016
