Hi fani,

Waiting for 4 months was too long. Have you ever contacted the resolution centre before? Have you ever involve your MP with regards to your application? If non of these, you might try to call the eu resolution centre, and send them an email with regards to the status of your application, tell them your concern, I know they will answer you the same like we cant give you the status update or Each application is considered on a case-by-case basis etc. But atleast they will make a note or notify the caseworker regarding your email and concerns and to escalate your case as youve been waiting for 4 months now and no COA yet. Then if nothings happened, you might try to involve your MP, send them an email regarding your application and concern. some of the MPs are very helpul, they even send a letter to home office regarding your case, but some are not, they will just simply emailed you a copy paste whats in the eu settlement website. Hope you will get yours soon.

Hi Misfits, im just wondering wethere COA will guarantee that the Decision will come out with the positive result. As you said it means that my application is Valid, does it mean that the HO will not gonna require me further documents to support my application?

Not at all . it just mean you send a Valid application under EU settlement. At this stage your application is only looked at by a admin worker ( not caseworker )

I got COA next day after Biometrics. But after 2 months got an email and call from Caseworker that i've documents missing and i should send them. Then 10 days later Settled Status

Thanks Kamote0926 for your reply. I am obliged.
I did receive COA 4 months ago. I contacted resolution centre several times but they have the same answer always.
The only thing left is to contact MP. I will try this as well now. Hope for the best

Hi,

So if we have not receive a COA, the caseworker has not even check our application? Cause I have called more than 6 times now and they keep saying its with the caseworker but I havent even receive my COA.

I have involved my MP and even he replied me that the EU settlement hasnt replied them back about my case.

Hi askmeplz82,

Did you submit your application online or paper based? Maybe thats why it took them 2months to decide as they missed your documents after sending you your COA. But if you submitted your application Online, how come they lost it? Based on your statement, they only requested you to send the same documents because they missed it right? Not unless HO required you more or additional docs to support your application. So meaning, once COA recieved theres a 95 percent change to get the positive result wethere they missed it they lost or whatever reason. 😂

Hello,

I was thinking the same. Once COA recieved, the caseworker already looked at it, and maybe getting more advice from senior caseworker to decide thats why it take some time for us to recieved the decision. I did not involve my MP, but I said to my self if I dont recieved my COA in 3 months, I will contact my MP. Hope for the best mate. You will recieved yours as well soon. Pray and wait😊

Hi,

Yea, its been so frustrating. I got my national insurance and even update it on the EU settlement resolution centre. Still got nothing from the caseworker. I mean if they really need something I wish they just call rather than making us wait in the limbo. I am tired of just waiting and losing job offers for months. Good luck to you too!

Goodevening guys. Just an update and a quick question
Non eu applying for settlement scheme timeline:
Application submitted: 22.07.19
Biometrict done: 07.08.2019
Contacted the eu resolution centre twice (email and phone): 12.09.2019, they cant give me the satatus of my application, they said the caseworker will gonna contact me if there are more required docs to submit.
COA recieved: 30.09.19.

My question is, when you recieved the COA, will this be a guarantee you will recieved a positive result? By the way I applied for Settled Status.

Just hoping for the best .

I applied Online 1st May / Biometrics 1st May / COA 3rd May .. i uploaded all online

my case was very complicated. My EEA RC expired 4 years ago. My Wife left me 5 years ago. I applied as a seperated EEA family member because we are not divorced yet

i uploaded online
- My passport copy
- My 4 yrs old EEA RC COPY
- MARRIAGE certificate
- My ex Wife ID copy

that;s all. So caseworker called me after 2 months because i didn't include residency proof of my EX. The reason i didn't because i don't have anything on her name up to date. But then caseworker told me it can be any 5 years . so i send her Bank Statement from 2009 - 2015 . We married in 2009

Home office is processing upto 8000 applications per day .. so you just have to wait. OCtober is the busiest month for them because of brexit and there many backlog. That's why people who applied in early january - march got their application very quickly in 2/3 days

Hi All,

Please I need advice, my husband is Irish and I am Non-EU. I made my application:
Applied to the scheme: 28-09-2019.
Received notice to submit passport. Then I realised there was a mistake as I didn't get mail for biometrics collection. Went back to the submitted application and noticed, I had filled out my Tier 4 BRP number thinking it was any BRP or BRC that was required.

Has any made an error and have HO cancel it or withdraw it themselves? I need help please. Thanks

Just a little update,
I applied 1st week of Aug biomatrics done in 2 days
After a month and three calls got my COA + another email for further proof.
Meanwhile i heard an acquaintance who applied and got his coa got email to call them and on calling they told him they sending him paper application to fill, so all that only one person refused so far was just a gimmik.
I called again after month of COA and was the guy looked at my file and said send us your sponsor residency proof, and explain me it could be tanancy or dr letter. Sent that today.
It couldn't be my case worker as he answered the phone. Im worried if they going to do similar with me. But he did say we only waiting for residency proof.
Please help me understand am i still where i was when i applied or is it gone next stage

Hi everyone

I’m new here and the comments gave me the courage to call the Resolution Centre.

I’m a non EEA family member. My husband and I made our application on 01/08/19. He made his then I made mine adding his application reference to mine.

He had to send his EU National ID and it was sent back a week later and his COA was emailed too.

For me my application was 01/08/19 and biometrics taken 05/08/19 and my COA was emailed to me immediately.

Neither I nor my husband has heard anything after that. I called this morning was put on hold for like 20 minutes and was eventually told my application is with a caseworker and I should ring back if I don’t hear anything in about 3 week   Frustrating!!
Quick update... called the Resolution centre last week Monday 30/09 was told my application was fine that they are just waiting for my EEA husband’s application to be completed. Advised that I call back with my husband to chase up his application.

Called with my husband on Friday 04/10 and the person we spoke to was very helpful. He said the application has taken too long and he was in his words “going to escalate it to the Powers that be

Fingers crossed we should get good news soon!

The waiting is alarming! Please just want to ask if anyone know how long it takes to receive a decision after COA, it took 6 weeks for me to get it and now I dont know how long I have to wait for the decision.
