Biometrics done on : 12th Apr
CoA received : 13th Apr
5 year pre-settled status granted: 15th Apr

Congrats, can you please tell me is this your first BRC, what documents have you uploaded on the application and have you had to post your original documents to the Home Office or not ?

its first BRC yes.

Applied online and upload the scan of passport and Family permit, And application nr of my husbands pre-settle.
After submission of application and i was redirected to book appointment for bio at ukvcas.
After the bio and i got COA. Nothing sended to Home office because passport used at application must be taken to ukvcas appointment and verify there.

Thank you , I think because i have Tier 4 BRP not family permit that's why is taking more time to issue CoA for me.

I added the BRP number on the application but was not asked to redo biometrics (maybe because permit only expires much later). Had to send passport to home office, applied 30.03.19 passport at home office 2nd April. Also waiting for COA. Also sent my current BRP with the passport but only Because I wasnt sure if I should keep it or not. Send non family permit applications do take longer.

Hi hayley01

did you already receive an email from HO? We have the same dates of application and already have a BRC before. I received my CoA and status on 08 of April. But my husband which is the EU national still did not receive anything yet. We posted our passport and ID's on the same day 02-April.

Hi eyps1213

Was your BRC the EEA2 residence card? I only ask because non EU family members who have one seem to be getting their status faster (which makes sense). I got an email to say I have submitted the application and to go onto the website to check any next steps I needed take (mine were to send the passport to them). My husband (EU) got his the day after he applied, he didn't have to do anything after he submitted his application same with my daughter since the chips in their passports were checked by the app.

Yes it is. And still on my maiden name so I had to post my new passport under my married name already so it will be updated on their system. No biometric needed. Just uploaded my BRC and application ref number of my EU husband. After 5 working days I got my status via email.

Any NON EU here applied without EU national Documents ? I'm separated from my EEA national and she won't give me photocopy of her ID and Residency proof. So annoying.

Thank you :D

It says "EU SCHEME PRE-SETTLEMENT" on it as type of permit and has remarks of "WORK PERMITTED/LEAVE TO REMAIN". It covers the next 5 years i.e. valid till April 2024.

Nice, thank you for the information.

Now we may need schengen visa to travel to other eu countries. Since the new card doesn't mention about eu union family member.

Hi hayley01,

How's yours? Did you already receive an email? I keep on calling Resolution Centre but they told me to wait for another week about my husband's application. Still waiting for his CoA. It's been 2 weeks since they received it.

Hi eyps1213

Haven't received anything as yet nor have I received an email with COA. I will try and call again tomorrow but I am slowly losing hope of getting anything back anytime soon.

I guess we really have to wait. Keep me posted and I will keep you updated on my husband's application as well. I am already panicking about his identity card if it was lost or something but on royal mail it shows that they received it on the 2nd of April. Hope we will soon hear from them.

Hi
I am in very similar situation as well.

My EU national wife made an application on 4th of May considered for settled status and sent her id in post which was signed and received by home office. Till today she is waiting for COA, status and ID. She contacted the resolution centre and they said to wait for 2 weeks.

Me as a non E.U. national made an application on 5th of May, completed biometrics on 12th of May but neither I had any COA or any acknowledgement saying my application is in the process.

Trust me calling resolution centre is absolutely waste of time. They got no real time information on your application but basic such as in progress or complete blah blah.

I understand many people are apparently applying and the number of applications are increasing everyday but I thought it would be straight forward process to get the status but looks like home office is taking time as much they can !!

No no! No signature at all. Instead we weren't at home and it was left there on the front porch like normal post.

HI all,

Below is My updated case so far.

Arrive to the UK as family permit :23/11/2013

Both start working and paying TAX in the UK in January 2014

Residence card NON biometric version issued: 30April 2014

Residence card expiry date: 30April 2019

Apply for the settlement on the 30 of March 2019

Bimetallic info were taken: 30th of March 2019

COA : 8/04/2019

The Application is currently under consideration so still waiting.

I have been with my wife for 10 years, 4+ years in Cyprus and 5 years and half in the Uk. We been married for 7 years and we both came to the uk in the above mentioned date. She applied to Settlement and she got her ILR approval and I am still waiting. Not sure what is/are the reason(s) of the silly delay as I thought it is going to be straight forward.
