Hi everyone,

So I have applied for me and my husband Eu settlement.

Me (EU citizen) :
Application submitted : 21 sept
COA : 21 sept
Decision : 8 oct

My husband :
Application submitted : 8 oct
Biometrics : 16 oct
COA:
Decision:

So we went today for the biometrics of my Husband, furthermore he don’t have any BRC, so the Eu settlement center told us that during biometrics, the first page of the passport is scan, so we don’t need to post it.
Now we are waiting for the decision to come... I hope it come fast as wherever he is going for job, they are asking him a BRC card 😟

(Good to hear that you received your decision already, soon will be your husband.
I saw that you waited 12 days to receive your decision. looks like the 5 days that show on the website doesn't apply anymore .
I'm Eu Citizen and applied last Sunday 27/10, so looks like my decision will take some time like yours)
Hi everyone,

So here is my husband and my timeline for the EU settlement scheme:

Me (EU citizen) :
Application submitted : 21 sept
COA : 21 sept
Decision : 8 oct

My husband :
Application submitted : 8 oct
Biometrics : 16 oct
COA: 9 nov
Decision : 9 nov

I am so happy, finally we received both of our decision. The BRC card will come in 10 days approx.
Good luck for everyone,

I'm a non-eu. Applied for settled status under Retained rights..

Application submitted 18.10.2019
Biometric given 09.11.2019
COA received 10.11.2019
Decision Pending..
hi Thiva
Are you able to tell me if you applied online or paper application and what evidence have you submitted.
I am in a similar case to you, I believe.
HI dimiku,
I applied online and end of the application i had to book a biometric appointment as i dont have a brc. i have another ongoing retained rights case under EEA law which was refused and the appeal hearing due in january 2020. i Have scanned and uploaded the marriage certificate, Divorce certificate-decree absolute, some tax returned letters from HMRC, my bank statmets (online downloaded pdf) covering 5 years as my residence proofs . ( i have already considered as Settled as the real-time checking through my NI number when filling the application)
i couldn't submitted all 5 years residence proofs of my former wife as we divorced a year ago. i have no contact with her and I'm pretty sure that she wouldn't help me out too.somehow i managed to uplaod some payslips of her and a bank statement. and we had a joint bank account which was active since 2012.i uploaded that too as her residence .thats all i uploaded as supporting evidence. now only left is decision to be made by homeoffice. dont know how long would it take when i see others time scales on this forum. but my COA was super fast though. the next day after biometrics.
Hey Thiva
I think you have done pretty much all you can for now.

Good luck.

Provided all possible evidence for her and mine 5 years residency as well as marriage and divorce certificate.. Also provide my Ex's valid ID. Involved my Mp too but nothing helped to speed up the process.. I have been hearing for long from. Resolution centre that my case is in final stages 😅

you have a strong case as you spent a very long time in the uk as an eu family member.also your family is settled too. so you will definitely get your status too. yea its a bit funny. some people get results quickly and some have to wait too long as you do now. i believe it depends on the case worker too.

Upload front page and visa page of your mom passport. Upload proof of relationship and whom may it concern write the letter for her confirmation of address obviously she will stay with you. Nothing else when you complete the application online at the end prompt will come upload the documents then upload through your phone and take the picture of your mom also upload. Don't put glasses and don't cover head n ears. Then 3rd step prompt will come make appointment for biometric with their third party. You can make it free if you can wait but have to go Croydon office otherwise you have to pay from 60 to 150. To be honest there is no hassle. Hope you do understand. If you need further assistance please let me know. Best of luck.

My timeline and some tips
My eeuu wife received her settled status in August.
I have a temporary residence permit or sticker in my passport.
I applied Oct. 3. Online. I couldn’t use the eu brexit app. Because I don’t have a Biometric card.
I uploaded my stamp/sticker, my wife’s passport photo, Marriage certificate as supporting documents. That’s all.
Biometrics taken in Croydon centre. October 16.
if you check at 7am o’clock. You’ll find some free appointments. But they are at any time. I didn’t buy any of the products they offer. Just the free appointment. Cost. £0.
I received CoA 07 November. Email.
I received SETTLED STATUS confirmation email.
9 nov.
biometric card on its way.
Congratulations. Can I ask when was the expiry date of your temporary residence permit (sticker) in your passport? How early before the 5 years anniversary did you apply? I applied a bit over a month before it was due to expire so was wondering if that was the right time to do...

Also looks like 1 month processing time from bio metrics to confirmation of status.

Thanks bro. For your very quick reply!
One more thing when i apply online pre-setteled application for mom so i have to choose option id check by post because no biometric documents and do i have to send her passport to home office by post and when we go for biometrics as my mom don't speak english will she get any assistance on the Auto biometric machine booth or counter thanks
Hi you welcome and I said don't worry it's very simple you don't need to send any documents just end of online application after upload the documents then they will direct you to make appointment with sopra for biometric. Staff is very helpful and they let you in with your mother the only thing is waiting in que for elders bit tiring. Best suggestion go by train and your mother sit somewhere around and you stand in que and at the time of her turn she join.

Congratulations!
Leo_one could you plz tell me how i can apply for pre-setteled status for my mom she is coming to uk from Pakistan next week she got 6 month EU Settlement Scheme Family Permit visa but as she don't have any documents with biometric chip so how to apply and how you did it for your mom please your advice will be really helpful for us you or anyone who been through with this experience thanks
Thanks... It is good news congrats. It is very simple just follow the link:

Hello Leo_one

How did you apply for eu travel permit for your mother? what are the requirements? are you en EU or Non-eu national? i'm waiting for my decision under eu settlement scheme and if i granted the settlement would i be able to sponsor my mom who is non-eu living in out of the uk. Please explain. Many Thanks

You appear to be a non EU citizen who retained rights of residence. You cannot sponsor your mother under the EU rules or the EU settlement scheme. Only EU citizens can sponsor.
