But separation is still considered part of a family member of eu..if divorced peoceeding has not started yet..did your partner inform HQ about anything..
Hey,
That's what I thought also and I did link my application to my ex-partner but the HO are still keeping me waiting.
Also I got 2 kids with settled status but it is not making any difference it seems 😡😡

Wao that's long waiting
Are u divorce from your eu partner?
Mine is straight forward link my application with wife settled status
Same here, straightforward application (I thought) with automated checks indication more than 5 years continuous residence and provided P60s and Council Tax bill of the last 5 years too. COA issued following day after biometrics and now waiting for 3 weeks. I think HO is just inundated with backlog of applications as we approached the 31st October "Brexit Day" See stats from HO document:

More than half a million applications were received in the month of September 2019
(520,600). Overall, the total number of applications received from August 2018 up to 30 September 2019 was more than 1.8 million (1,860,200). i.e. in a month they received half million applications!!!

I have tried to escalate with MP but no luck.
I did receive my COA in June but nothing else.
Every time I call them they say that the case worker is looking into the case and will notify me if they need any further information.
I am calling them every week and always the same story.
I don't know what else to do!!

I think that's why your case is complex
I am married 11years going on separation relief
But have been advise it can't arm my ongoing application as far as we still legally married.
I believe u will b fine

My timeline and some tips
My eeuu wife received her settled status in August.
I have a temporary residence permit or sticker in my passport.
I applied Oct. 3. Online. I couldn’t use the eu brexit app. Because I don’t have a Biometric card.
I uploaded my stamp/sticker, my wife’s passport photo, Marriage certificate as supporting documents. That’s all.
Biometrics taken in Croydon centre. October 16.
if you check at 7am o’clock. You’ll find some free appointments. But they are at any time. I didn’t buy any of the products they offer. Just the free appointment. Cost. £0.
I received CoA 07 November. Email.
I received SETTLED STATUS confirmation email.
9 nov.
biometric card on its way.
Congratulations. Can I ask when was the expiry date of your temporary residence permit (sticker) in your passport? How early before the 5 years anniversary did you apply? I applied a bit over a month before it was due to expire so was wondering if that was the right time to do...

Also looks like 1 month processing time from bio metrics to confirmation of status.
My temporary residence permit expires in July Next year. My wife has been working in the uk for over 7 years. End of August was our 5th wedding anniversary.

Just replying because i saw your post saying you were cohabiting and not married, mostly applicants are married so i thought ill let you know i got my settled status on cohabiting partner,
Never linked my partner application as she never applied for settlement scheme, got child as well.
PR refused, appeal dismissed as well.

Took 3 months and a week altogether so fingers crossed for you, you should get it as well.

Hey iibdii,
Wow, congratulations.
Thanks for sharing your story.
My case is very similar to yours but the HO are really taking their time with mine.
It'll be 7 months on the 24th November.
Hopefully they'll approve my settlement status soon 🤞🤞

Hi,

I applied for my residence permit in July which is still pending, I am an EEA FAMILY member (my sis is our sponsor).
My question is should I apply for pre settled status for the kids while my application is still pending. Or which is the best scheme to apply for them.

Can anyone please guide me.
One of my child was born in the UK. but not a British citizen
Looking forward to reading from you.

Thank you

November 13 mail received that application successful.
Biometrics card received same day
November 15 all supporting document received.
Alhamdulillah robil alamin.
