Hello T-slimmzy
I am a student visa holder too, did you book biometrics by yourself or receive a biometrics letter by mail? I feel confused that I wasn't told to enroll my biometrics details.

The Official monthly statistics for the EU Settlement Scheme were published last Thurs 14 November. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... r-2019.pdf

And worryingly you can see that there is a huge backlog as HO received over 500k applications in Sept and in October. This has been reported in the media here: https://inews.co.uk/news/politics/brexi ... ine-996914

I have similar timeline as you kmoney1. Surprised to receive COA same day as biometrics but no updates since.

Hi,

I applied for my residence permit in July which is still pending, I am an EEA FAMILY member (my sis is our sponsor).
My question is should I apply for pre settled status for the kids while my application is still pending. Or which is the best scheme to apply for them.

Can anyone please guide me.
One of my child was born in the UK. but not a British citizen
Looking forward to reading from you.

Thank you

Update.

I received my residence card
Timeline Is as follows
July 24 application submitted
Aug 8 biometrics done
Certificate of application received with no right to work
November 13 mail received that application successful.
Biometrics card received same day
November 15 all supporting document received.
Alhamdulillah robil alamin.
I pray that all the people waiting get a positive response soon.
Hi I Adey
Congratulations on getting a positive answer.
Did you apply under eea or settlement status scheme?

Apologies for the late response, I applied under EEA FAMILY MEMBER. I pray you hear a positive response soon

I thought linking application with family member will speedy things up but in my case still waiting for settled status application outcome as non eu
They keep telling me eveything fine that my case is very straightforward because NI check eligible me for settled status and coa issued in 1minute.
Still waiting 1month now

Application submitted: 11 September (linked with husband's application)
Biometrics done: 28 September
COA recieved: 21 November
Settled status granted: 21 November (approx. 10 minutes after the COA was received)

No requests for any more information & no contact in between September and November besides an email to ask if they had my biometrics registered.

My husband (DK Citizen) applied 8 September and received his decision 9 September on the basis of working in the UK.

hi all
It has now been 7 months since I have applied.
Is there anybody else that has been waiting longer than 6 months?
I have spoken to a lawyer and they suggested that I might be able to go for a Judicial Review proceedings since it has been taking so long for my case to be processed.
Is anybody on here who has been waiting for longer than 6 months?
Has anybody spoken to their lawyers regards to expediting their cases?

Please let me know , this waiting game is causing me a lot of stress :( :( :x :x

Hi Dimiku,

Wow sorry to hear you are waiting that long , 7 months is ridiculous! It should not take more than 6 months.
Please what is your background case and have you received COA yet ?
