It seems nothing is happening lately regarding decision making specially for people that applied in Jan. and early Feb., no COA, no email from case workers, no updates even for people that applied Nov, Dec last year as well.
What's going on or are people not posting updates anymore?
I'm confused 🙄🙄🙄
Hope Coronavirus isn't affecting decision making 😂 😂😂
God help us please 🙏🙏🙏
Same here. I did my biometrics in February. Nothing yet. No COA. Nothing yet.

Non-EU with EEA RC received in the beginning of February. Sponsor (husband) has pre-settled status:

15/02/20 - applied for EU Settlement Scheme (id-ed by BRC, gave husbands’ ref number, attached 2 bills and wedding certificate)
15/02/20 - COA
11/03/20 - pre-settled status granted

I guess I have a very straightforward case as I’ve just received EEA card. The process was smooth and easy for me
Congratulations. Straight forward case like my husband. Has the hone offI've asked you to return your EEA RC since you have now the pre-settled card?

No, as I applied online and relied on the existing BRC to get identified. I don't have pre-settled card (and I didn't want one at this stage), just status valid till March 2025. I will need to apply for the new card before expiration of my current BRC (end of June 2021)

OK I see. Maybe you don't need to apply since your pre-settlement is granted till 2025. Unless I am wrong since your brc will ecoire in June 2021.

In general I’m good till 2025. But yes, if I want to travel after June 2021 (or change jobs) I need to apply for new card.

I'm following this thread since last year to get an idea of timelines. It's been really helpful I must admit specially to relieve the frustration.
3 of us (EU national, family member with BRC and family member without BRC) in our family applied for Settled status in end of November. And both the EU national and family member with BRC got their settled status within a week, whereas I received my COA 2 weeks later in December. I believe this is due applying via postal route. It looks like people with BRC get quicker decision and the rest go to a long queue.

I'm now waiting since November for my settled status and to be honest utterly disappointed about this service.
Is there anyone waiting since end of November?

hi guys
I had contacted my local Mp and found him a really nice person. His office sent an escalation email to HO and below is the answer his office received.
Sharing so people can see how HO deals case to case. So as stated it can take longer once it comes to manual checks
i received my coa in mid dec.

HO reply
Thank you for your email correspondence of 9 March 2020 on behalf of Mr Alijee786 of Address abc, about his European Union Settlement Scheme (EUSS) application.

On November 2019, Mr alijee submitted a EUSS application. This remains under consideration.

Our current timeframe of five days to one month to process an EUSS application which is presently published on our website at: www.gov.ukhttp://www.gov.uk, is an expected processing time. This is an indication of how long it may take to receive a decision on an application to the EUSS, and is not a service standard.

An application is likely to take longer to process if:

* A caseworker needs to request more information from the applicant
* An applicant is applying as a minor and their application is not linked to an adult
* They submit a paper application
* They have a relevant criminal record
* The applicant is a non-European Economic Area or non-Swiss citizen and is applying based on a relationship they have not relied on in a previous application to the Home Office.

Mr alijee has applied on the basis of a relationship that has not previously been accepted by the Home Office, and as per the above guidance, applications that are raised in such a manner will take longer to consider.

Whilst we endeavour to progress all applications in a timely manner, processing times will vary on a case-by-case basis. We have to make a number of enquiries before we can reach a decision on whether or not to grant settled status to an individual under the terms of the EUSS. The extent and length of time taken to complete these enquiries varies according to the circumstances of each particular application.

So far, our enquiries have not been completed in regards to Mr Alijee application and we are most sorry for the delay. Please be assured that as soon as we are in a position to conclude this application, he will be notified of our decision via email.

Just a quick update on my husband's application to the scheme:

October 10, 2019: Application submitted online. He posted his BRP (valid Tier 2) and receieved it back within a week.
Februray 13, 2020: Received a letter asking him to provide biometric data (£0, he did it the next day)
        February 29, 2020: COA received

And still waiting for a final decision.

All the best to everyone and take care!

Since then I haven’t receive any email or letter for Biometric and of course no C O A either , email to H O same reply we are working on it will be notifying you soon , called twice and got reply that you have submitted your BRP not BRC thats why its taking long time to retrieving your data 🙄 16th of march today more then 7 weeks they haven’t retrieved my data yet very strange that and stressful.
