Hi Oniopapa,
Why did it take that long to process you status? Would you mind to share your background prior to applying in EUSS. Thanks

@docado

i have one conviction history involve in 2010. that is before i even acquired my 5 years resident card in 2015

my finding is HomeOffice have no any excuse for there behaviors
i call them me day and night before the case being escalate to the senior case worker.
However i don't thinks this is nothing to do with the Conviction history.

I told homeoffice that i am a human being and i deserve just one answer my application is too long.

(1) Refusal Letter
(2) Pre-setttle Status
(3) Settle Status

@docado let just hope and pray . my believe is homeoffice are not fair with 3rd country application

Hi Eke123,
I am still waiting. Called three times and same answers. It seems there is slow processing because of disruption although public offices working like normal. This can also be done from home. Did you contact them again?

I've contacted them today and they said they'll be in touch with me soon. I should keep my eyes on my emails
The thing is when I did my biometrics I didn't have my passport cos its with HO, but this morning at 9:20 they've received my passport from another HO department that is with it and that's why it's taken this long but they'll be in touch soon I should keep my eyes on my email.
Hopefully they'll be in touch soon and I'll surely keep you posted.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for sharing your experience on this. I came here as a non Eu national on EEA Family permit in Nov 2019. I applied pre-settled status and here is my timeline:
Application submitted: 7 Jan 2020
Biometrics taken: 9 Jan 2020
COA received : 18 Jan 2020
Haven’t heard anything back yet.

Hopefully it would be soon as my EEA family permit is expiring soon and my employer is worried about my working rights.

I made a freedom of information request to HO and received the following details.
By the end of February 2020 there were 172,100 applications made by non-EEA nationals under the Settlement Scheme.
129,300 received their status, while 42,800 applications were outstanding.
Average age of outstanding applications on 29 February was 91 days (!!!).
Given that in February itself there were 15,000 applications (which I assume haven't been processed mostly), there are thousands of applications outstanding for way more than 3 months.

What timeframe does this include? From biometrics? Do you know if they are still processing the applications, I mean because of coronavirus?

Hello,

Being in the same situation (no CoA yet) and my EU settlement scheme family permit expiring in two weeks, do you have any idea about what to do? Apply for some visa extension?

I have the issue to prove my right to work. I have family permit (expires in April) and COA, but all employers ask me for pre-settled. I don't know what to do, I need to start to work. Is there anyone else in this situation? I applied on 20th of January and Coa recevied on 28tg of February. Nothing after that.

Hi Makicaaa,

Don't worry too much. Ask your employer to do a right to work check online and the home office will confirm your right to work. Even for right to rent, the home office will confirm your rights.
Hope this helps

Hello, I did my biometrics in the UKVCAS in Chemlsford.
I have called the resolution centre which assured me that I have no further action to do and gave me the typical answer that I will be receiving my CoA as soon as a caseworker does the manual verifications... nothing so far.
I have emailed the resolution centre to explain that my EU settlement family permit is expiring on the first week of April and they told me they will notify the caseworker and that they will do their best. Needless to say that it did not change anything.
So what should I do after my family permit expires? leave the country because I have no valid immigration document ( and how with all the lockdown measures around the world)? and If I do, how am I supposed to come back to my husband?
I honestly feel trapped even if I did everything by the book and followed all the procedures!

Hi Guys,
I wish everyone best of health during this horrible period. I will appreciate if someone likes to write an answer or personal experience to my following question.
My Family Permit expired on March 13, I applied to EUSS on 28th Jan, didn't get any reply yet. Does the expired Family Permit will impact on decision? Did someone got decision in such a situation like me?
Is processing of applications is going on in this lockdown period?

Please rep..Thank you so much!
