No, still waiting for the decision. I would assume that the HO still operating maybe not in full capacity but still working I guess.

The HO posted an update about processing time which will experience delays (further delays...) because of the pandemic.

Yes, I have seen it. But the problem is that my application was delayed even before coronavirus, and now they are officially announcing delays, so it seems safe to assume that they will not be processing applications...because how safe it is to access these databases from your home....HO will never allow it.

Lol. What if they do? You can do FOI to find out. I think what they might do is have some in the office to access data base, and some at home.

Eu resolution call centre is closed. Only way of communication is web portal application. And they will get back to u in 5 working days. Yes there will be more delays.

    Hi Guys,
I wish everyone best of health during this horrible period. I will appreciate if someone likes to write an answer or personal experience to my following question.
My Family Permit expired on March 13, I applied to EU Settlement Scheme on 28th Jan, didn't get any reply yet. Does the expired Family Permit will impact on decision? Did someone got decision in such a situation like me?
Is processing of applications is going on in this lockdown period?

    Please rep..Thank you so much!
[it doesnt matter-Once you submit your application before your previous visa expiry date then your previous status ll continue untill HO make decession on your application.

    Hello,

Being in the same situation (no CoA yet) and my EU settlement scheme family permit expiring in two weeks, do you have any idea about what to do? Apply for some visa extension?
When did u do your biometrics?
Hello, I did my biometrics in the UKVCAS in Chemlsford.
I have called the resolution centre which assured me that I have no further action to do and gave me the typical answer that I will be receiving my CoA as soon as a caseworker does the manual verifications... nothing so far.
I have emailed the resolution centre to explain that my EU settlement family permit is expiring on the first week of April and they told me they will notify the caseworker and that they will do their best. Needless to say that it did not change anything.
So what should I do after my family permit expires? leave the country because I have no valid immigration document ( and how with all the lockdown measures around the world)? and If I do, how am I supposed to come back to my husband?
I honestly feel trapped even if I did everything by the book and followed all the procedures!
You dont need to leave country-your previous status ll continue until HO make decession on your application.

Pre settled status got 08/11/2019 at 14:00
    Thanks Allah
Good luck and best of wishes for all those are waiting for decision.

Hi Leo_one. What documents did you submit when applying for your mother. I am non eea family member of EU citizen and we are both got settled status. I want to apply for my mother in eu Scheme family permit. Does my EU spouse can sponsor her. Thank you in advance for your reply.
    Hi Diamond 45

I have submitted proof of relationship and bank statement proof of money transfer by me in her bank account. Actually I have made the application on her behalf online and made booking for biometric in Pakistan. Documents can’t be upload here so sent all required documents sent by dhl to her and i have paid the fee here to biometric agency for upload the documents there. If you are non Eu national then you can’t do but your wife can do and she have to made history that your mother dependant on her and in application give her settlement status UAN.
Many thanks Leo_one for the reply. Can I ask you too. Did you buy return tickets for your mother to come to UK if she holds only EU Settlement Scheme Family Permit to join. It is required return ticket. I will appreciate your kind response. Thank you in advance
Hi no its not required. I have bought only one way.

    Had applied In November 2109.
I dont see any hope any soon. There were already un-justified delays and after pandemic more delays which we can do nothing about. Went to see my local mp as my mum was sick and needed to travel. My mum passed away and could do nothing about it i feel broken inside.
Lost my online job my only source of income.

    Hi Alijee786,
I'm really sorry about your loss man, I can understand what you are going through. I'm also waiting for a decision since November. I really don't know what is going to happen. But stay strong. They have no idea that they are playing with other's lives. What's the point in having the settled status after you have lost everything and once everything else is destroyed. I'm seriously fed up with this nonsense now.

All i can do is Pray that God keep all of us away from such disasters. Had no idea that the loved ones we areleaving behind we will never be able to see them alive.
A friend called me today and said HO is not looking into the immigration cases till this virus thing is over. Initially 3 months they said.
May God keep us and loved ones safe!

    Hi everyone,

Thank you for sharing your experience on this. I came here as a non Eu national on EEA Family permit in Nov 2019. I applied pre-settled status and here is my timeline:
    Application submitted: 7 Jan 2020
    Biometrics taken: 9 Jan 2020
    COA received : 18 Jan 2020
    Haven’t heard anything back yet.

Hopefully it would be soon as my EEA family permit is expiring soon and my employer is worried about my working rights.
Hiya! Did u get anything back yet? I’m in the same situation like you, but idk if it is still possible to work after the FP expires. I got my COA and my FP is expiring today. We call the inmigration police and they said as long i had applied there is not need to leave the country. So I’m wondering if u are still working or if anybody know what to do to get a job in such a situation.

Goodevening guys. Just an update and a quick question
Non eu applying for settlement scheme timeline:
    Application submitted: 22.07.19
    Biometrict done: 07.08.2019
Contacted the eu resolution centre twice (email and phone): 12.09.2019, they cant give me the satatus of my application, they said the caseworker will gonna contact me if there are more required docs to submit.
    COA recieved: 30.09.19.

My question is, when you recieved the COA, will this be a guarantee you will recieved a positive result? By the way I applied for Settled Status.
    Hi Kamote,

I’ve read that the COA is confirmation of a valid application under the EU Settlement Scheme.

I too I’m non eaa national .my time line is

    Applied for settled status 6/9/19

    Biometrics done 13/9/19

    COA - still waiting

    Status approval letter- still waiting.

My case is I separated from my eea partner, I don’t have a valid ID for my partner, all I have is P60s Bills and NI .
Just hoping for the best .
Hi Mate any response from H/O. I am in a similar situation waiting from 8 months, couldnt provide my ex valid id.
    Thanks
Hello Mate. Sorry for the late response. I recieved my result Last monday. My EU settlement application was granted. Almost 8 months of waiting. The reason of the delay was the HO requires my wife to submit a 2 years of evidence as the HMRC was not able to locate her previous work. I guess who ever here requires more evidence by the HO after applying the scheme will expect the delays. Hope you guys will recieved the result soon. Keep praying ang keep safe. Godblesa you all.

    @Kamote096

Pls I would like you to help me with these questions if you can. Did you submit proof of 5 years of residence to support your application as your wife did or was it only your wife that submitted proof of her 5 years residenceand did that cover for both of you? Secondly, were you issued the COA and finally settled status the same day.

Thanks and hope to get a feedback from you
