You submitted the app on Dec 4, then after that, on Jan 27 you received a call asking for more documents. I asked if you submitted those documents, not when you submitted the app. That's all.

YES, I submitted everything. I dont know why they asked again.
even i spoke to EU Settlement Resolution Centre in dec. to ask some information they said everything is fine what i submit. But the officer who called me he confused with what is the relation between my mom and my wife. |And asked about documents to submit again becoz he cant find.

My partner and I applied to the EUSS, I'm a Spanish national with Settled Status, she's a Philippine national here on the Fiancé Visa.

We applied and were approved for the Fiancé visa last year, had our Ceremony in the UK in December, and then applied to the EUSS for her to stay with me.

Timeline
Application submitted : 08/12/2020
Biometric given : 07/01/2021
COA ISSUED : 07/01/2021
Status approved : Still waiting
Biometric card received : still waiting

6 weeks since COA and still nothing, I've already tried calling them only to be told application is 'in progress'. Wouldn't say anything else -_-

On their website it states it can take up to a month unless the applicant is Non EU and Home Office was unaware of our relationship previously.

However as they granted our Fiancé Visa they were aware of our relationship, hence they shouldn't be taking so long... Its a simple case.

Wondering if I should issue a formal complaint to Home Office to speed things up...

Have others been receiving their status this Jan/Feb? Doesn't seem like many are.

Currently hold Pre-settled Status with eligibility to apply for Settled Status since the 30th Jan 2021

Date of Application : 2nd Feb 2021

COA: 2nd Feb 2021

Bio-metrics Enrollment : Still Pending

BRC : Still pending

I had replaced my EU residence card to EUSS card in June 2020.Also did my biometrics then is it why i received my COA on the same day ? As I notice some people have received their COA after enrolling for biometrics. Do they reuse biometrics if you have recently been enrolled ?

I am in the same situation having received my COA on 7th Jan 2021, but still waiting on pre-settled status. I am an american recently married to a EU citizen so its a new relationship in the application, but we got married in the UK and I have not received a request for more information from the Home Office. I sent a complaint via e-mail and have been calling about once a week with no real answers. You can try submitting a complaint then emailing your local MP to try to accelerate things, but I think we just have to wait and be patient. They seem to be really backlogged cause of COVID. At least for these sorts of applications.

Evidence is required that your wife was here before 31-12, or at any period in the 6 months before 31-12, or you will not qualify under the treaty.

First things first: Biometrics are only done when a new physical document is issued.

The rationale of the Home Office is to digitise as much as possible; and only issue a physical document when absolutely necessary, or on specific request.

You will not be invited to redo biometrics for this application since you (presumably?) applied via the app using a biometric card. This means you already have a valid physical document and in that case, following the above rationale, you are not issued a new card.
I had replaced my EU residence card to EUSS card in June 2020.
Not a great idea I'm afraid. You created an extra round of biometrics to have a card you would replace in less than a year and that you didn't need. You could have kept your EEA card until June 30th 2021. Best would have been to wait until you had Settled Status and only then change card. Now, to have a new card that has "Settled Status" written on it you will have to specifically request it. This is not included in the bundle of your current application.
Also did my biometrics then is it why i received my COA on the same day ?
You could say so. You received your COA on the same day because there is nothing further you need to do, such as biometrics, to consider this present application complete. (Remember, if you already have a card you will not be issued a new card, therefore no biometrics.)
As I notice some people have received their COA after enrolling for biometrics. Do they reuse biometrics if you have recently been enrolled ?
You could say so.

If you want your card to say "Settled" instead of "Pre-Settled" you will need to apply to convert it here. It is in that convertion application that you will be asked for biometrics, because you are asking for the issuing of a new card.

Hi everyone. I am tier-4 Student BRP holder and had currently applied to EU settlement scheme as a durable partner to my EU partner. I linked my application to my partner and daughter’s. But somehow, they have taken my daughter as my sponsor. Today the scheme contacted me saying that my application should be moved to Paper (Chen) application. So am wondering if anyone has faced similar case, especially given that I am relationship with my partner and that we live together with our daughter. Just worried that the starting to Chen application will further delay my application. It’s been over a month since I received my COA.

This is potentially a complex answer, I think there has been at least one other person ill-advised to make a Chen application which was later refused. Please create your own separate topic. Otherwise is very hidden here among a lot of noise.

Hi everyone,

I need help with ID exit app for the EUSS. I am a non-EU with EEA FP on my passport. Can I still use the app to verify my identity with my non-eu passport or does it have to be a paper application?

Many thanks

Unfortunately, you can’t use the app if you don’t have either of EU Passport/ID card or current BRP.

Hi @ butterfly11 , you can't use the app the to verify your ID but you can still apply online and might have to send your passport by post. From comments i have read here and my experience , your passport can also be scanned when you go for bio-metrics . my BRP was scanned when i went for mine . Hope this helps

Like many here, still waiting for an update on our EUSS after non-EU wife coming on a family permit. Haven't been asked for any additional information, no changes to circumstances from when we got the family permit, and its been 6 weeks since the COA.

E-mailed updates@apply-to-visit-or-stay-in-the-uk.homeoffice.gov.uk 2 weeks ago, to request an update, but so far no response, and the helpline is also no longer entertaining progress update.

Apart from just waiting and waiting, is there anything else we can do? I don't want to get my MP involved, as I had to do that previously after waiting for 7 months for a visitor visa.
