I wonder, if I have BRC under EU valid until 2022, would they send me replacement card under EUSS?
Nope. You have to apply for it.

You won’t get a new card unless you apply for your card replacement

Update: I just received settled status today (25/05/2021). The whole process took slightly less than 4 months! Good luck everyone!

non-EU unmarried partner timeline:

[pre-settled status]
Application date: 19/02/2019
COA date: 19/02/2019
pre-settled status: 22/04/2019

[settled status]
Application date: 01/02/2021
COA date: 01/02/2021
HO called asking for more evidence: 15/03/2021
more evidence submit: 15/03/2021
waiting for result

When I first submitted application on 1st Feb I didn't provide any documents as I have pre-settled status already. HO called and asked me to provide evidence to show that my relationship is still on-going. The caseworker mentioned anything like renting contract/combined bank statement/letters will do. I provided bank statement and letters (covering past 6 month) to show that we are living in the same address. It's been so long and hopefully can get a result very soon!

Hi everyone,

I am a non-EU spouse of an EU citizen. I've been waiting for the pre-settled status outcome for more than 2 months now. My EEA FP expired in April. I need urgently travel abroad beginning of June.

Can this affect my pending application outcome?

Can my spouse receive the EUSS permit card once it arrives and send it to me, so I can re-enter the country?

Thank you for the suggestions!

Hello Everyone, if you can please help me!!
Is there anyone apply for the eu settlement scheme in the uk in 2021?

I am a non-EEA national married to a EU citizen who works in the UK. After my husband had received his pre-settled status, I submitted my application to the EU settlement scheme in the UK and still haven't received the decision
* Application submitted: 28 January 2021.
* biometric enrolment done : 25 February 2021
* COA received : 17 May 2021

I did call the resolution centre many times, they said that I should wait.It has been nearly 4 months now.
If someone knows how much time the decision will

the application take longer when the caseworker think that the marriage is fake (sham) the home office process them application till after 70 day from the application submitting. and usualy the caseworker send your case to the investigation office. which mean that the police will check the adress you give in your application and see if you live with your partner or no. they will interview the two of you in your house adress

Hello,

my timeline (pre-settled):
* Application submitted: 22 April 2021.
* biometric: not required
* COA received : 13 May 2021
* decision: waiting for

Please see it also this way: the later the decision the better, if you are in the similar situation like me. In fact, I am already in the UK since 2 years, but I never took care about settlement scheme and my residence evidence. I only woke up few weeks ago and started to build up my evidence. So the later the decision, the later the expiry date of my pre-settled status and more time to collect 5 years evidence and finally to apply for settled.

I applied for settled status almost 4 months, no update at all. I only uploaded our marriage certificate. Do I need to submit more supporting documents? Is it because I uploaded only marriage certificate that my application is taking too long?

No it is not because of that. If the caseworker decide they need more evidence when it comes to processing your application, they will contact you.

That is the only document I will be submitting myself when my time is due next year.

Hang in there, they will process it. Best wishes.

Janet Sunday .

What are you applying for pre-settled status or settled status?
Do you already have EEA Residence Card ? Have you contacted EEA resolution centre asking about the delay in result ?

Are you an non-EU family member of an EU citizen? If yes, that isn’t a surprise. If your spouse is EU citizen and got her status in 2days then that’s normal also. Theirs are processed quicker.

I applied for settled status. I contacted EU resolution centre and they replied back today basically that I have to wait, they are working on it. They have got high numbers of applications and calls blah blah blah.
I dont have any other choice than to wait.

If you gave biometrics on 18 february, then your application was submitted that day. That means it's been just over three months.
Even though processing times for EU nationals can be quick, processing times for non-EU family members take time, 4-5 months is not uncommon.

Don't waste your time trying to contact them to get an update, no one answering the phone or contact form has that information. You will only receive the one canned answer they can tell: "Application is under consideration".

They usually send email. I am non EU and I have applied for settled status over 4 months now, I have heard nothing. I'm tired of waiting😂😂😂
I sent emails and called several times, they said they will get back to me via email.
