Hello everyone,

I'm a non-Eu family member and this is my timeline:

Online application for pre-settled status - May 7th 2021
Biometrics - May 20th
COA - June 2nd

I'm still awaiting decision. I've spoken to the resolution centre twice, but I didn't get any clear response from them.

I would like to know if there are any May applicants that are still haven't received a decision from the HO yet.
Are u allowed to work with ur COA ?
You are June 2nd application not may
Your certificate of application is your actual application submission date , u should have received your decision by now , maybe by IST to 5th October.

I understand, but I'm sure there are applicants that have gotten their COA in June and have already received their status this month. Hopefully, I'll receive mine next month or before.

Hi Viny,
Hope you are well.

I applied for settled status with my solicitor on 20th June.

Got COA letter on 28th of July confirming the receipt of my application on the 30th of June. I received my passport on 14 September 2021.

I haven’t chased up my application so far. When do you reckon I’ll be getting my results?

Thanks

Hi Everyone. We have received my husbands EEA visa today. It is valid for 6 months. Our timeline is as below:

15 June - visited TSL Centre and submitted biometrics.
16 June - application passed to decision making centre
29 Sept - received text message from DHL to advise that the visa was collected at the visa centre in Dublin and due for delivery today.
30 Sept - visa received.

Documents I submitted as a sponsor:
1. Bank statements (7 months)
2. Payslips (7 months)
3. Marrigae certificate
4. Employment contract (for me)
5. Utility bill proving my address in Northern Ireland
6. My husband's visa details for Republic of Ireland
7. Letters with our names on them from when we lived overseas

Can I ask - his visa is valid for 6 months. What visa do we now apply for pre settled status?

I hope the information helps.

Thank you

I am in a similar situation, I applied for my Settled status on 1st June , received CoA on the same day and still waiting for a decision. My partner (EU citizen) got the settled status within a week.
As of now I can just wait, current pre-settled status expired in 2024, will get a decision before that I am sure :)

Just thought I'd share my timeline and details if it helps anyone.

Arrived in the UK on an EUSS family permit on 5th July.
Applied for EUSS: 6 July (spouse is Irish with pre-settled status since 2019)
Biometrics: 1 August
EUSS family permit expired: 10 August

Called up EU resolution centre multiple times in the past 2 months and got the standard responses - "you have to keep waiting for the COA", "we can't share any timelines", etc. I needed a COA urgently as my employer was giving me a hard time about proving my right to work.

My employer did a right-to-work check around 13 August. They received a "negative" response in early September.

Requested MP for help: 23 September
MP's office responded on 27 September that they have weekly meetings with the Home Office on Wednesday afternoons and that they would escalate my case.

MP replied on Wednesday 29 September evening that the Home Office was still in the ID verification stage of my application. The MP committed to following up at every weekly meeting (which I thought was great service).

Received COA: 4 October
Received pre-settled status: 4 October (weirdly, just an hour after the COA)

In all it took 3 months since I submitted the application and 2 months since biometrics, although I suspect it would have taken a lot longer if the MP hadn't escalated.

To follow through from my previous post, I also applied for EUSS for my baby and my mom on the same day as mine, yet they haven't received a COA. I have not escalated their cases with the MP yet, so that could be the reason.

When you say EEA visa, I assume you are referring to the EU Settlement Scheme Family Permit? Those are the only permits currently being issued to family members of EU citizens (unless they've extended the EEA family permit provision).

Your husband's next step is to travel/move to the UK and apply for the EU Settlement Scheme. He has three months to apply from the date of entry into the UK.
