Hi all I have a question for those who’s already e mailed or contacted their MPs. I don’t vote nor do I own a house in my borough, so what are the basis, guidelines or structure point towards requesting their intervention?

Hello, what does this mean on the zambrano form at the bottom of page 30 ‘family member of a qualifying British citizen with a restrained right of residence’ followed by dates(from-to)? A quick response will be appreciated.

I have submitted my application for EU Surinder Singh route, my application was submitted on 07/23

My question is do you know if I have to send my passport to HO for ID check or at the visa center is accreditted to scan the passport and that's it? no need to send passport?

Thanks guys

Hello, everyone, I'm a bit confused about a thing. I hope you guys can help me out.

I am a non-Eu that just recently moved here with my Eu wife. I settled first with my EEA-family permit and just did my pre-settlement application yesterday. I got no biometric resident card. My basic timeline:

Application: July 30th, 2019
Biometric: July 30th, 2019
CoA: July 30th, 2019 (same day!)
Decision: July 31th, 2019 (today!!)
The decision letter said I will receive a resident card within 7 working days.

However, I just contacted my solicitor and asked where will they send out the card. To his office or my home address but my solicitor kept on telling me that I will not be having a card. He said with a pre-settlement you can see your status online and will not be having a card.

My question is, will I have a card or not? I paid 60pounds for the application yesterday as well. If I do not have a card, should I apply for a card?

Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

Helping and satisfying a future constituent (voter) and their family members who may already be constituents with voting rights. Also as a lawful resident of their constituency they have responsibility towards yourself as well. You may not own a property, but one can you are renting one, hence benefiting a landlord who is a homeowner and possibly voter in their constituency. There are many ways to look at this. No reason to be shy, I doubt your MP will be discourteous.

@twgreentea

You will definitely receive a BRC in 7 working days. As you said you are non eea national and previously you had eea family permit. So by all means you will receive it.

Your solicitor doesn't have a clue at all.

Good luck and drop us a line when you will receive it. And send a picture of that card to your solicitor.

And change your solicitor after receiving a card :-)

I have the same problem. I couldn't supply them with my ex-spouse's current ID,s o I attached only a copy of the expired one and the EU registration certificate EU citizens get when they apply for EEA1. Mine was done over a week ago, and since then, haven't heard anything back.

Hopefully, it's not a problem.

Just ex-spouse's valid ID. I believe they automatically checked our details and realised we both have more than 5 years work history/NI contributions.

Hello all,
I was told about this EUSS yesterday by my solicitor,
My timeline is i was issued eea family permit for 5 years on jan 2014.
Before expiration i applied for my PR which was refused for the reason my partner had British passport in the past so they refused to class her as EEA citizen, my appeal is on Tuesday 6th so im wondering can i apply for this in meanwhile or right after my hearing? I have my passport and my expired permit on a page.
Please advice if i knew the existence of this app before i would have applied in march before even i was refused.

Applied 15th May, wife already has a residence card so figured it would be straight forward.

No response yet. Called them and they said everything's fine. Any idea what's going on? How are people applying in July and getting responses days later?

Hello all,

First time poster here.

Need your kind advice. I am a current Tier 2 ICT visa holder, applying for EUSS on the basis of my son who is an Irish National. I applied for EUSS on 2 June and have yet to receive decision. My visa is expiring mid next month and was wondering if I should at the same time apply for EU Derivative Residence card (Chen) to ensure I can continue working when my visa expire.

My timeline:
Submit application (using BRP) 2 June 2019.
Post current BRP 4 June 2019
Received back BRP 17 June 2019
Received letter to enroll on biometric in post office 10 July 2019
Enrolled biometric 11 July 2019
No COA received.

Thanks

Same here(expired ID), however, I added another ID in the form of the EEA Registration certificate(card), the blue card EU national get from the HO when their rights are confirmed. I believe with that added evidence, the settlement teams recognises the ex is indeed an EU citizen.

Those of us who falls insuch group gets their case forwarded to the senior case workers. Thats what I was told when I called the resolution centre again after submitting those documents. That my case is with a senior case worker.
