EUSS for extended family

Hello everyone,

While doing EU settlement application for extended family member within UK, there are only close family members options there and we must have to select one in order to proceed , what is the solution for this please ?

That issue has been raised at the beginning of this month.
The home office is aware of the situation but still working to update the form.
Although, there is no quick except the wait. bit of you wish, you can select any relationship and write a detailed letter explaining the situation

Yes I was thinking the same to select any other option and explain in covering letter, We have also received this letter from home office , will this also help ?

That letter is part of the standard process .
I would suggest you upload the same with the supporting documents.
I would also urge you to write to your MP

It have more than 5 months but still I've not heard any thing after the appeal decision.

Please advise what should I have to do?

I would advise you to get your lawyer to write a letter to home office regarding this delay or talk to your mp.

After receiving this letter, under how many days did you receive the passport?

Can you please guide me how did you fill the form and what documents you provided. I am filling for my brother. He also has the same letter and EUSS Family permit in his Indian Passport. Which option to choose in form and what to fill after that?

I am an Irish citizen living and working in UK since 2018. I have pre-settled status also.
I applied for EEA family permit for my brother(Indian citizen) to join me in UK in Dec 2020 (before deadline). The application was refused. After that I filed an appeal which was allowed. My brother finally got "EUSS Family permit" (not eea family permit) in June 2022 for 6 months. He entered UK in July 2022. He is living with me now.

Can someone guide me please how to proceed with his EUSS pre-settled status application? He just have his Indian passport and the EUSS family permit vignette sticker in the passport. He does not have biometric residence card/permit.
The online application for EUSS joining family members doesnot have extended family option.
So how to apply?

Choose any option from the loser that you find more relevant and explain in th cover letter.
In these days they are trying to find any possible excuse in the book to refuse people.
I would suggest you to seek professional help unless you are well competent to do it yourself
