Hi,
I've applyied in the end of January this year. Sent all documents, payment has been taken... Till now got nothing. Neither my doucemnts back or resident card... Had tryed everything to get them back but I got a feeling I will not receive it back. I come from Poland - I start to think that is the main reason I have been treated that way... Well... Good luck everyone.
It’s all because of Brexit I think but don’t loose hope.
Write to this email id you will get response in 20 days mention your case id home Office reference date of application.
complaints@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk

Also try to contact you local mp they are quite helpful.
Keep me updated too.
Let us not make it an us v/s them issue. The case workers dont target any nationality specifically. They are ostensibly processing cases impartially and Ive not heard of any specific country being discriminated against. It is frustrating yes!!!
The fact is after 8 months if you dont get a response there is something seriously wrong and the first thought is it could be lost in the post.
Kindly try the complaints email and alongside approach your local MP. This seems to be the most appropiate action to take.
Thanks for answer but I've already sent 2 complains, 3 requests for my documents back, made plenty phone calls, had contacted local MP who adviced me to get help from lawyer... Have no idea what else I could do... Didn't mean to offend anyone by saying I've got problems to get my documents back because I'm Polish.

What was the outcome of complaint ?

The form suggested is for lost, stolen or damaged. I don't think a name change comes under this category.
In order to change the name in the BRP one would need to show evidence (poll deed). That is not done using premium service.
The alternative is to submit a new PR application mentioning name on BRP as name previously used.
This process will take a few months though.
I just recently recived it last month and now make another application again for pr ? It is just a minor
Yes I think that person is right. You need to apply as change of circumstance. Change of name is a very serious matter to avoid forgeries etc. So you will have to submit all the documents regarding your name. NOT your P60s etc. Im not sure which form is to be used but you will need to reapply under change of circumstance like a married woman changing her last name.
I have checked a lot i coudnt find any form for that, and i am willing to spend 690£ on premium one day service if its possibe :(
I spoke to a solicitor, she said she can do one day service for our application. Is it because this solicitor have link with the home office or im confused people here say no you cant. But she said you cab either do one day service £600 or £170 which will take up to 3 months?

This man is a LUNATIC!! Look at his attitude. He thinks this is Citizens Advisory Bureau. Perhaps some fool will pity him and give him some advice. He fails to understand that NONE of the users are immigration people and he wants us to tell him if his solicitor has links with HO> This is beyond hilarious.

Dear Afalimar,
Dont tell me what I should say. Yes you are insulted because I remarked that Muslim Arab lovey are arrogant and misogynistic. And being Moroccon ie Arab you are offended. Your reaction is a clear indication. Since you are new here I dont see how you can judge anyone. I dont know anything but I know akshar is an annoying lunatic. If a solicitor has adviced him differently, why should he consult ignorant people like us? He should go ahead and do what he has to do. We want to know time lines not about his name change problem. Akshar is immune to anything thrown at him. I am saying this with disdain you shut up and dont tell me to stop saying what is right.

Yes Akshar, your solicitor is probably right. So go ahead and apply for premium service. When you get your name changed in the document do let us know. That would be a good example of time line queries. You should ask her if she has connections with HO. We are all waiting for our own applications to be decided and asking us about the status of a solicitor nobody knows is crazy.

I am astonished by Afalimar. This is only his 3rd post, joined 2 days ago and believes he is capable of judging people.
Please enlighten us all sir, when has manners and respect changed that uttering the words "shut up" and repeating it can still be considered polite or respectful?
The whole tone of your post is very aggressive and you are hurt because some harsh truthful words are addressed to another person. Offending sentence removed by moderator
