I've applyied in the end of January this year. Sent all documents, payment has been taken... Till now got nothing. Neither my doucemnts back or resident card... Had tryed everything to get them back but I got a feeling I will not receive it back. I come from Poland - I start to think that is the main reason I have been treated that way... Well... Write to this email id you will get response in 20 days mention your case id home Office reference date of application.

Also try to contact you local mp they are quite helpful.

The fact is after 8 months if you dont get a response there is something seriously wrong and the first thought is it could be lost in the post.
Kindly try the complaints email and alongside approach your local MP. This seems to be the most appropiate action to take.
I spoke to a solicitor, she said she can do one day service for our application. Is it because this solicitor have link with the home office or im confused people here say no you cant. The form suggested is for lost, stolen or damaged. I don't think a name change comes under this category.
In order to change the name in the BRP one would need to show evidence (poll deed). That is not done using premium service.
The alternative is to submit a new PR application mentioning name on BRP as name previously used.
This process will take a few months though.

This man is a LUNATIC!! Look at his attitude. He thinks this is Citizens Advisory Bureau. Perhaps some fool will pity him and give him some advice. Yes Akshar, your solicitor is probably right. So go ahead and apply for premium service. When you get your name changed in the document do let us know. That would be a good example of time line queries. You should ask her if she has connections with HO.
