Hi All,

I thought I will post my timeline as well as provide an index of the evidence I provided with my application. I’ve not seen a lot of people posting this type of info and it would have been helpful for me to have had an example of evidence submitted for the application, I hope this would help a few others as well.

Based on non-EU unmarried partner to EU citizen.

Application with Supporting documentation sent (postal): 07/08/2017
Payment taken: 08/08/2017
- Chased up after two weeks, because the money was taken but no email confirmation that the application was received was send to me.
- 17/08/2017: Email received advising that application was received but nothing has been done with it as yet.
Confirmation email: 06/09/2017
- Date on website shows 05/09/2017: Awaiting Decision
Biometric letter received: 08/09/2017
Biometric details submitted: 09/09/2017
COA received: 21/09/2017 (Dated 18/09/2017)
- Call received from Home office - partner passport to be handed in: 26/10/2017
- Partner Passport received back: 01/11/2017
Documents received: 06/11/2017
PR cards received: 06/11/2017

Online Status: Still shows “Awaiting Decision”

All in all, it took 14 weeks from submittal date.

Would have been quicker but my partner required his passport to travel for business.

We submitted a certified true copy of my partner passport (received from our bank) with a letter from his company advising that he requires his passport to travel for work.

HO required to see the original document, there is also a service where the Local Council can verify your passports and then you don’t require to submit the original passport with the application. Unfortunately, there was a 6-week waiting period for this service

( https://www.gov.uk/government/collectio ... rn-service )

This is the index of the evidence to support application:

- My Passport
- Certified true copy of my partner passport with letter from his company, later replaced with his original passport.

Additional Information
• Letter confirming non-EU unmarried partner EEU
• Employment Letter (for both myself and my partner)
• Driving License (Paper) (for both myself and my partner)
• Evidence of National Insurance Number (for both myself and my partner)

Year 1 (2017)
• P60 (for both myself and my partner)
• Joint Bank account statement 1month’s
• Council Tax Statement
• Tenancy Agreement

Year 2 (2016)
• P60 (for both myself and my partner)
• Joint Bank account statement 1month’s
• Council Tax Statement

Year 3 (2015)
• P60 (for both myself and my partner)
• Joint Bank account statement 1month’s
• Council Tax Statement

Year 4 (2014)
• P60 (for both myself and my partner)
• Joint Bank account statement 1month’s
• Council Tax Statement

Year 5 (2013)
• P60 (for both myself and my partner)
• Joint Bank account statement 1month’s

Year 6 (2012)
• P60 (for both myself and my partner)
• Bank account statement 1month’s (for both myself and my partner)

• Tenancy Agreement and Tenancy Deposit Certificate

Year 7 (2011)
• P60 (for both myself and my partner)
• Bank account statement 1month’s (for both myself and my partner)

I’ve submitted 7 years even though only 5 years of evidence was required.

Hello everyone........ Non-EU timeline :

Application sent: 21/8
Confirmation email: 14/9
Biometric letter received: 16/9
Biometric enrolment : 19/9
COA received: 11/10
Online Status: decided 9/11
Documents & passport received: 10/11
PR cards received: 13/11

It took less than 3 months, much quicker than I had expected but it's probably because it was the renewal of PR card.

The supporting documents I sent for the proof of my continuous residence were 5 years of Council Tax bills with my and my husband's names and to be on the safe side, I also sent my husband's private medical insurance certificates in which my name is included.

Thank you and good luck to everyone here.

No progress on my timeline since the quoted post. Over a month since I did my biometrics, I am yet to receive my COA. Emailed them as well - nothing.
Getting edgy now; wondering if the application's stuck...

Hi all,

I finally received my 5 year residence card as the unmarried partner of an EEA National, below is my timeline:

Documents Sent on: 03/07/2017
Money Taken: 06/07/2017
Confirmation email received: 12/08/2017
Biometrics Letter and COA received together: 12/08/2017 (dated 09/08/2017)
Biometrics Done: 12/08/2017
Decision: 08/11/2017

So in total it took 4 months and a couple of days. This is wayyy faster than I had thought, perhaps Home Office had finally hired more people to deal with these applications.

Best of luck to everybody!

Cheers,

Lily
