Permanent Residence retained right of residency. one of my residence card expired and due to missing documentation applied for 2nd residence permit. it was issued in 2015 and divorce in 2017 waited until 2019 to complete the 5 years employment and i applied for PR in 12.06.2019
i didnt apply for ROR but straight for PR.

it has been nearly 5 months and i have heard nothing from home office. my solicitor said that since i had to much document with the application therefore he had to send it in a box and for that reason it was misplaced in HO but 12 days ago he emailed me saying my file has been allocated and i will get a biometric letter in 10 days. but 10 days gonne nothing happened yet and even the money has not been taken from my account.

i am very worried since most of the PR cases have been dealt with much quicker. i would be highly appreciative if you could give me some advice. the only thing i can track is the recorded delivery which has been recieved by home office liverpool.

i have been constantly contacting my solicitor and he doesnt answer but when i get hold of him he says he will chase it up.

We applied on 31St August using paper application due to having surinder singh case.
By 18th Sept we had COA and finished biometric and all other formalities .

Even we had our passport returned by 14th Sept 2019.

However after that all went silent, it has been 3 month on 30 November 2019 and on 18th Dec 2019 3 months from date of COA, still no progress.

So don't worry, as delay seems to be increased since June 2019.

From 18/09/2019- to 18/12/2019 - 3 months no update.

18/12/2019 - Email from DX with document tracking number from home office:

On DX tracking the date of delivery showing 19/12/2019.

I will update if their is bad news. If permanent residense card EEA4 is issued then I will not post any more update.

I hope the info give few people waiting a little bit clarity.
