Hey guys. I am going to marry with my boyfriend by proxy in the next months. We are both brazilians but he also holds Italian citizenship. He's currently living in Italy (and he will move to the Scotland after we get married). I'm living in Brazil. Do you think that we might have problems when applying for EEA Family Permit because we're not going to be together when we get married? A friend of his will represent him here in Brazil at the time of the civil partnership. I appreciate any help.
Someone told me that the civil partnership certificate would not be sufficient and that I'd need to show numerous additional documents e.g. A letter from the eu embassy. Is that true? I don't have money to get a expert solicitor/lawyer and there isn't additional information in the Gov.uk website
