Good afternoon, I hope my timeline will help.

eu ( self employed) applied, the system told us that it does not have information and the information must be submitted regarding the residence in uk. ( 18/03/2019) information submitted.

The outcome pre settled status granted on 20/03/2019.

I applied ( as a direct family member) also submitted proof of my residence in Uk ( bank statements). 21/03/2019 th outcome was within two hours I got a pre settled status granted.

Thank you guys for all your support, and finally after raising concerns to home office by myself and my MP they have confirmed my pre settled status ( applictaion approved). Although, they have taken more than 2 months to decide but finally my application has been approved on the basis of retain right,

I will be eligible for settled status in 3 months time but now this is very straightforward because I do not need to send my ex’s payslips etc.

According to my opinion, raising concerns by my local MP and myself have proved beneficial!!

Please tell me if I am wrong “ home office has put our applications on hold as they are waiting for the new policies “ I believe this is wrong as we have applied under the Eu settlement policies which are already there” I don’t really care about their policies, I need out come on the basis of policies which were there at the time of applications”
This has gone off-topic, and I have replied in the right thread here.
Hi Kamoe,

I believe I am in the same situation as yourself.

I am family member with RC, my wife applied for settled status on 19/02/2019 and she got her settled status the day after, then I have applied on the day after for settled status while quoting her application no.

However, HO never replied so far.

I have been as a family member for only three years, but I have got seven years of NI records.

Please let me know if/once you have received any news. Thanks
Any news Kamoe??

nicely done. Did the response from HO explicitly mention the time frame of 3 months when you'd be eligible for settled status or is that something based on your calculations?

No, but not in a rush. I prefer the HO focuses their efforts on helping those who need statuses urgently ;)

Hi Rkohdi,
Give them your last 5 years P60 and request bank to give you a statement from last 5 years whatever date you got married for your first marriage. Call your bank and they will provide you or visit your branch.

Regards.

3 applicants: EU with PR, EU child, Non-EU spouse (6.5 continuous residence in UK, last 2 years on EEA RC)

Application submitted: 11/3/2019 (all)
Soft decision: Settled status (suggested for all)
COA received: 11/3/2019 (all)
Application decision (EU with PR, EU child): Settled status granted on 14/3/2019
Application decision (Non-EU family member): No update yet

I understand there are a few of us is a similar situation (i.e. non-eu waiting for a decision whilst their EU family members have received a decision in a timely fashion). I was wondering if someone can advise on what should be considered as the start date of the continuous period with regards to the settled status application. I see 5 potential options:

a) Arrival date in UK (2012)
b) Start date of ‘durable’ relationship with EU national (2013)
c) Date on marriage certificate (2015)
d) EEA RC application date (2016)
e) EEA RC approval date (2017 – yes it took almost 6 months to process)

C- Date on marriage and 5 years of continious residence in the UK afterwards, so if you partner is married to you in 2015 and you both were living together, then his 5 years start from the date of your marriage. At least, this is what my understanding is when I spoke to few immigration advisors.
