Update - first case I've heard of a non-EEA citizen being granted Settled Status today, on another forum.

Applied - 21/1
Granted Settled Status - 29/1
Comments - Already had PR.

Given person already had PR, it probably is one of the more straightforward non-EEA applications to process.
I already have PR and I applied on 22nd. Just received an email from HO stated "Application Submitted" 🤔
Called them straight away but they cant see in their system if they sent me anything today.....

I currently have a RC as the extended family member of my EEA partner.

We both applied on the 21st Jan. He was granted settled status 24h after submitting his application (22nd Jan). I received my COA on the 21st as well but just received an email today (29th Jan) saying that my application has been submitted. Has anyone else received this as well? It is odd that I applied on the 21st but just received this email today.
Yes same here. I applied on 22nd and just received an email that my application has been submitted and if I need to do more I have 70 days to take action.....

I just received this email as well. It also says:
Log in to your application using the link below to find out if there is anything further for you to do.
For that I need to login, which i can't, as I don't know my BRC number by heart so I'll do that when I'm back at home this evening.

Has anyone logged in, and is there is any pending action to do? I'm conscious of their last request before submitting my application last week, about submitting evidence of my relationship with my sponsor, and wondering if there is any indication now as to what exactly that meant, or if it is good as it is and we don't need to do anything else.

I have. I thought they would ask for the evidence of my relationship with my EEA partner (I said I did not have any when applying), but no further documents have been requested, everything looks the same way it did when I submitted the application last week.

Same here, during my application they asked me to submit proof of relationship which is not really required in my case as I have PR so I did not submit. I logged in and it is same as before, nothing changed. I think it is standard email from HO and we are finally in loop now and our cases are handed over to case workers.

Hello

As I've been following this forum since I applied for settled status, I thought I'd post my timeline:

Non EU with biometric PR
application sent 21/01/2019 8pm (did not provide proof of relationship)
Settled status granted 30/01/2019 9.40am

Good people, this forum was invaluable a few years ago when I was trying to get my EEA FP Family Permit and it seems from these posts it will once again be very useful.

I literally started looking into this yesterday. I had a call about a job, and the recruiter asked what would happen after my EEA FP is due.

My details:
  • Living in UK since Feb 2015.
Non EU Family Permit holder, valid through 08/20.
Married for almost seven years to EU National.
1 yr old son born in UK with EU passport.
From what I have been reading, wife and baby wouldn't have an issue if they applied today, myself as the non eu would be the one waiting a bit longer.

Can anyone share the link where they are applying? I know there's a beta test going on now, that you may need an android phone, etc.

Any info would be highly appreciated.

Yes the app asked me to provide proof of relationship. I ticked the option that says I cannot provide proof of relationship.

Alina, gustmr, scanning any wedding certificate would be enough, or they need it to be translated, etc?
Thanks!

I'm not sure about that but I believe it needs to be translated. I'm an unmarried partner so when I got my PR I needed to provide photos and bank statements as proof of relationship...

Those with sticker on the passport need to wait until 30th of March as the test phase only works with biometric cards and EU passports

I did get my RC same year as marriage and then renewed it again as there we some other issues preventing us from getting a PR. It seems the only thing they care about is if the EU national has Settled status and if they do how long you have been married to them i.e >5 = Settled, <5 = Pre-Settled.

my partner is living here for almost 9 years but he didn't bother to get any PR as he was exercising EU treaty rights. We got married in 2014 and i received my RC in 2017 (sticker on passport). My five years of marriage will be in June this year so i am totally confuse about the outcome of my application.
