Congratulations Miguel, what a relief!!

So the conclusion we can draw: For all cases that require a caseworker to look at the dossier, expect 7 weeks of processing time.

Only in case where the system of the Home Office finds five years of full work history you can expect a quicker decision because in those instances they only need to still do a criminal records check that should take no more than two weeks.

Cheers

Silent reader here. Until now.

I would like to thank the people who have contributed to this topic and have helped me to go through the waiting time since my application.

Here is my contribution

EU Citizen
Application Submitted online :31 October
COA: 31 October
Decision: 17 December. Got Settled Status.

During my online application, I had been asked to submit further documentation proving my eligibility and I had been offered the Pre Settled Status option.

However, as I wanted to apply for Settled Status I chose that option and I submitted as documentation Council Tax bills (I took photos of the actual paper bills).
As I could not find a Council Tax bill for a particular year (or any other bill for that year), I sent instead a online bank statement with my direct debits for that period. My only concern was that this online bank statement (covering 6 months) had only my name and surname but not my address. However, it was enough and today I got my Settled Status.

Best of luck to all of you.

Hi All,

I have been following the posts on this thread and I would like to thank everyone for sharing their settled status processing times. It seems most decisions are arriving within 45 to 50 days of average time (from the date of COA) for those who applied after October or November. For those that are still waiting for the decision, be patient and you will soon receive the good news.

I'm listing the timeline details of few of my relatives who applied for the EU settlement scheme recently:

EU Citizen with UK Permanent Resident Document
Application Submitted online: 2 November
COA received: 2 November
Decision received: 18 December (Settled)

EU Citizen with UK Permanent Resident Document
Application Submitted online: 17 October
COA received: 17 October
Decision received: 04 December (Settled)

EU Citizen with UK Permanent Resident Document
Application Submitted online: 2 November
COA received: 2 November
Decision received: Awaiting decision

Good afternoon everyone! I have submitted for myself and my child on 10th November, got the confirmation the next day, heard nothing ever since.
Called last Monday and our application has the status of waiting to be processed!
We both have PR granted 7 months ago so it should be easy!
In the meantime ... waiting game!

I’m EU citizen being living on UK more than 5 years i got already the settle status.

Hello Everyone
i need advice i am EU national i applied for settled status on 01st july 2019.
when i started my application online the system said i have been living in uk but we have not find your last 6 months record. Then they gave me 2 options select pre settle or settled status
as i am i living in Uk from 5 years and was working continually first 3 years in a company and last 2 years as self employe. i did chosed settled status and i uploaded some documents from last 5 years.
i got CoA letter on 5th july but after that i have not received anything,on 1st january 2020 will complete 6 months.
i called EU resolution help line many time theirs answer was same as always that my file is under process and case worker will contact you.

i am fed up now its been 6 months but still no outcome even if they are not satisfied with the proofs still they should give me pre settle status.

can someone please advice me what i do ?
what will be best for me keep waiting or withdraw my application and submit new one ?

please tell me what i do i will be thankful to all
of you.

Hello

I have been living in the UK for 1 year and 2 months. I applied as a EU. I had a NiNo but never worked, so I uploaded bank statements.

Application: 6 Nov
CoA: 6 Nov
Presettled: 20 Dic

Mi partner and daughter applied as my dependants too NonEU. He had evidence with his NiNo, my child didn’t need to show evidence

Application: 20 nov
ID sent to home office : 22 nov
Daughter letter for biometrics: 26 nov (the letter was wrongly issued, so her biometrics couldn’t be taken and I had to ask for a new letter)
Daughter ID back: 28 nov
Husbands ID back: 9 dic
Husbands and daughter letters for biometrics: 14 dic
Biometrics taken (both):19 dic
CoA: still waiting
Status: still waiting

Good luck to everyone!

Hi guys!

E.U. citizen here, waiting for more than three months for settled, getting antsy.

15 September (five years to the day I arrived as a student): Applied for settled status. Provided a university letter confirming enrollment 9/15/14 - 6/30/19, plus I have a social security record running from early 2015, which they can check themselves.
16 September: Acknowledged.
Early October: Emailed their resolution center and asked what's taking so long. Stock response a few days later: Most applications are decided within a month but some take longer than others. If they need anything from me, they'll let me know.
Late October: Contacted my M.P. to see if she can find out anything about my application. Stock response a couple weeks later: Most applications are decided within a month but some take longer than others. If they need anything from me, they'll let me know.
26 November: Called their helpline to inquire about the status of my application. Response: It's with the caseworker and a decision is imminent. If they need anything from me, they'll let me know.
6 December: Called the helpline again. Response: It's with the caseworker but can't tell me when I can expect a decision. If they need anything from me, they'll let me know.

So, I'm now more than three months in, with no decision in sight. They never contacted me (yes, they have several up-to-date means of contact) and I'm really peeved about the time it's taking.

I'm not worried about getting the status eventually; what annoys me no end is the fact that the year of settled status needed to apply for the citizenship starts running only upon the issuance of a decision to grant the settled status. If I get that status, say, in March, it means I won't be able to apply for the citizenship until March 2020, which means I'll have had to live here for 6-1/2 years instead of just six. I'm sure that's against some law or other, and I'd love to take them to court over it but can't afford it.

Any words of advice, comfort, support, or indeed contact for a pro bono immigration lawyer? Thanks!

Hi, I applied for pre-settled status on the 30th of November, received the COA the same day. I'm from Spain, I've been working for 2 years in the UK. I am still waiting. I'm quite unimpressed.
