Hi, I applied for pre-settled status on the 30th of November, received the COA the same day. I'm from Spain, I've been working for 2 years in the UK. I am still waiting. I'm quite unimpressed.
Waiting my self since mid November. Patience my friend is the key

Hello, my partner who is an EU citizen applied for Settled Status on 25th November. So far she has not received a decision and we have now passed the 45-day waiting time that was reported by other applicants.

It would be good to hear from other people who applied in November as to whether they have received a decision or not by now.

A.

This is a bit worrying, you have been waiting for two months whereas others reported that the average waiting time is 45-50 days. I hope it does not mean that waiting times have increased! :o

I'm still quite unimpressed. While they say the normal processing time is under 5 days, reality is over 10 times that, about 60 days it seems. I'm guessing when the UK is finally 100% out, moving to the UK for work will be quite unappealing for EU citizens to say the least.

Application date: 3 December 2019
COA: 3 December 2019
Decision: 14 January 2020 (Settled status)

Automated check found two years of taxes, so just uploaded bank statement for all 5 years in the UK as proof of residence.

I’m non-EEA, PR holder, applied Eu-Settlement on 05/11/2019, didn’t need to upload any documents.
15/01/2020, I got my Settled Status confirmation letter.
It was a bit longer than I expected.

Do I need to apply new BRP card.
I’m still holding EEA permanent residence BRP card.

If UK leave the EU, can I still use this BRP card to travel EU without visa?

It is very very unimpressive indeed! They should change the information on their website

I've finally received pre-settled status! I now wonder about the next steps, do I need to ask for a residence card? Also my wife is non EEA so she'll be asking for pre-settled as well (we got married in the new years!).

Application date: 30 November 2019 (2772 AUC)
COA: 30 November 2019 (2772 AUC)
Decision: 17 January 2020 (2773 AUC) (Pre-Settled status)

PD: AUC is the year we live in, Ab Urbe Condita (years since Rome was founded). As an Atheist I don't like using a religion-based date system.

Many applications are taking two months.
My friend's mother got her pre settlement on January 17 2020.
She applied online on November 14 2019 and provided biometrics on November 15 2019.

Was this for a non-EEA application? EU citizens are not required to provide biometrics as they already have a biometric passport so in theory their processing time should be shorter.

In any case, the Home Office website states that processing times are 5 days to a month and this is clearly not what is happening.

Those who are waiting months for a decision are in state of limbo which is not fair.

hello everyone,
many thanks for sharing so many information here. i am a non-EU married to a EU citizen.
here is the story, I applied for pre-EU settlement before my partner, maybe it sounds weird, but my lawyer said its okey, I submit on 22/11/2019, and post my ID at 26/11/2019, they got it at 27/11/2019, since then I didn't get anything, I don't even know what CoA looks like :x, after one month waiting, I think maybe something is wrong with what I did, then I ask my partner to apply for pre-settlement and linked my application number with his, today is 20/01/2020, I still get nothing, feel so upset, hope I can get some news about my application.
and GOOD LUCK to everyone as well. Thank you.

What id you sent to Home office?
Have you applied online?
And did you book appointment for biometrics?
Normally spouse of EU national doesn't need to send any document to Home office.

The lawyer was right, you can apply before, but the Home Office says such applications would take more time. Considering the current time is about 8 weeks, it's not much surprising your application wasn't considered.

Have they returned your passport?

I sent my BRP and my passport, because I got an email that they want to get my BRP for proving(more evidence), for your question of "book appointment for biometrics" can you bring me more details, do I need to book online? or they will send me a letter, they haven't send me anything yet, still feel upset now.

thank you for your reply,
I sent my passport and BRP in 26/11/2019 and got them back 3 working days letter, since then, no email, no letters, nothing at all. Until today, it is already 2 months, and still no updates at all, they didn't send me anything, didn't ask me to do biometric appointment, didn't get COA or anything. I feel so upset.
