Timelines for today.
08:42 - sent a chargeable email to contact centre for an update;

We cannot discuss the outcome of your application online or by telephone. If you have requested a courier service, you can track the location of your travel document online. If you have opted to collect your decision from a Visa Application Centre team they will notify you that your documents are ready for collection.";
14:16 - received an email from TLS "UK Visas & Immigration has now assessed your UK visa application and made a decision. Your documents and the decision will be sent back to either the UK Visa Application Centre where you applied, where we will contact you by email over the next few days to collect them, or if you are using the courier return service, will be sent directly back to the address you provided. Please note that TLScontact does not know the outcome of the assessment and has played no role in the decision-making process."

14 sep not straightforward mail. I followed up at least 3 times after 15 days each. Earlier this month after reading on this forum i contacted Solvit; solvit responded immediately. Last tuesday Solvit sent me an email stating that they have escalated my case to UK Solvit. I am certain that Solvit has intervened and hence the response to our application. I will update you all on the outcome. But for now all the best to all who are waiting. I am sure you will have your families before christmas. I received this email from UK Visa and Immigration - south and south east asia region is this something new?so excited
and nervous too
. I wish everyone on this forum who are waiting for their visa will get it soon.
Best Regards
Hi Paschal, atleast now they dont say its not straightforward so there are lots of hopes dont worry. All the best.

Oliver12 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 30, 2017 8:32 amSo guys finally I received my Family Permit after 66 working days in all....
Hers my timeline...
Applied for my visa - 28th August 2017
Application receive in UK - 5th September 2017
Not straight forward mail received – 14th September 2017
Escalated to UK Visa Immigration Center – 24 October 2017
Not straight forward mail received - 25th October 2017
Escalated to UK Visa Immigration Center – 24th November 2017
Decision had been made email received - 28th November 2017
Collected my passport - today 30th November 2017
Since I'll be travelling with my wife together from Mumbai, I never had an option to contact the local MP.
However, I did contact Solvit and PAP (Pre action protocol)
And both did pretty well to resolve my situation.
Cause I was informed by PAP that they will be contacting & resolving my situation within 14 days,they did take 21 days but resolved it.
Additionally Solvit did inform me that they will be contacting me with regards to my case within 10 weeks that was in the month of October, however when I received an email on 28th November that a Decision was made on my application, I immediately received an email from Solvit that my case has been closed as a decision had been made by the UK immigration, which means that the both team were collaborating with regards to my EEA application.
Moreover if you take a look on my timeline I had just escalated for the 2nd time dated 24th November 2017 and just after the 2nd escalation I received an email after 4 days that the decision was made, so guys 2nd escalation too did favor me in my case, so you can take a call on basis on my timeline you never know whats in store for you.
Hence all the best for those who are waiting for their FP, I pray and I'm sure you too will get the FP as soon as possible.
Regards,
Oliver
