we submitted my daughter's application on 27 June. paid for priority service. When we call UKVI we are told a decision has been made - but to date no documents/passport has been received. They go every day to TLS in Madrid, but no passport has been returned. Is there any other number I can call?

HI Abdulahad

If your wife is in Uk from last 6 months , was she a Qualified Member as mentioned in UKBA website?
According to that the website

If they’ve been in the UK for more than 3 months they must either:

be a ‘qualified person’ (working, looking for work, self-employed, studying or self-sufficient)
OR
have a permanent right of residence

SO
if she was self sufficient then last six months bank statement and salary slip
if she was looking for work then proof from job centre
if she was self employed then bank statemnts

My husband will collect his passport tomorrow, will keep you updated.

Hello meryAzil,

First of all congratulation to your husband and to you as well.

I’m a spanish as well with a Moroccan origin and I applied for a eea permit for my mother on February last year which was rejected twice. After appealing, the judge allowed the case and finally last month we received an email confirming that the visa is ready and that my mother only has to go to rabat in Morocco to send her passport.

On the 11th of July my mother went to tlscontact in Rabat with the passport and the email from VISA SHEFO . People there they were so confided as it was the first time that they heard about this. They accepted the passport and they advised her that once the passport is returned they will give her a call.

Last Friday we received an email from VISA SHEFO advising that the passport is being returned but until today we haven’t received any call from tlscontact rabat.

Can you please advise when you received the email from VISA SHEFO and when YOU have been advised that passport was ready for collection ? How many days it took to get the passport in Rabat ? And as well what kind of VISA your husband got sticked in his passport ? 30 days ? 120 days or directly an era permit with 5 years ?

I really appreciate your help and all the information you can provide will be q massive help for us as we can avoid a wasted journey from tetuan (400 km one way)

Thank you very much and looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi guys, eea fp application made in Tirana, Albania
Can you please tell me how long you waited for you eea fp, we had our documents scanned and got the biometrics done on the 18/6/2018.
Received an email Saying that the application is being prepared for Consideration by an ECO on the 26/6/2018.
I then rang them and escalated after 17 days and received a email saying:
Thank you for your enquiry
I apologise for the delay in responding.
We cannot give a time scale for when a decision will be made, however please be assured that we are continuing to work on the application and will make a decision as soon as we are able to.
We appreciate your patience at this time, and will update you as and when we have any additional information
It's been more than 33 working days of waiting. I also phoned them again on tuesday and been told they will escalate it one more time but that gives them another 15 working days. call has been made Has anybody received their EEA family permit lately?
Have a good day

Hi all,
I recently applied for EEA family permit from Nepal and it got refused after 12 working days.Reason of refusal was that I was unable to prove my mother ( Portugese Citizen) as an EEA national. However, my mother had sent her original documents directly to Sheffield and my supporting documents were scanned in VFS.
I am thinking of reapplying now. Does anyone know what supporting documents of my mother and I has to get scanned at VFS to minimize the chance of refusal? (PS: I am under 21 of age i.e. 18 years old)
It will be greatly appreciated if someone can help me with what documents I need scan at VFS.
Thanks,
Rohan

Hello Rohan,

Home office here in uk are the worse ever.

My first refusal was due to a home office fault where they thought that my brother and myself are the same person. Then my second one they refused claiming that they is no evidences that my mother is really my mother and I have to provide DNA TEST .

So from my experience I think you should provide a certificate of birth from your country with all the IDs from there you’re and your mother ones. Abd then photos of her with you since you were a kid . And as well if it’s posible and to avoid rejection DNA TEST confirming that that person is your mother. The rest would be her payslips a bank statements.

So did you provide DNA test? Also, I live in Nepal and my mother is in UK. So, is there anyway that I can do a DNA test? If yes, do you know how much it gonna cost?
