No news is a good news. I waited 9 weeks and got it. They refused me before after 3 weeks of applying.
good morning pion,

I hope you are well.

My two mother application got rejected twice and we decided to appeal. Judge allowed the application and then we received an email from HO to submit the passport. It has been 9 weeks now and we still waiting.

Can you please advise how many days you got on the VISA sticker. And if the RESIDENCE CARDE was ready once you arrived to the UK ?

Thank you very much in advance for all the info you can provide.

Have a nice day.

Just wanted to share a timeline for TLSContact Dublin, as I was desperate for the information, and relatively few people seem to apply from Dublin. I am American, married to Irish citizen.

EEA Family Permit:
Applied: 01 August 2018
Biometrics: 02 August 2018
'Application transferred to UKVI' Email: 02 August 2018
'Application received by UKVI' Email: 09 August 2018
I sent email after working hours on 15th working day, stating my reasons for needing the application escalated (traveling back to the US to visit elderly family): 23 August 2018
'Application Escalated by UKVI' Email: 23 August 2018 (at 10pm!)
Decision Made Ticked on TLSContact Tracker: 24 August 2018
Passport Brought into TLSContact (I paid for 'Keep my passport while applying' service): 27 August 2018

TLSContact said I should receive my passport in the post tomorrow, 28 Aug. (I also paid for express courier).

I should also say that I never received an email that a decision had been made, from neither TLSContact nor UKVI. If I hadn't been checking the Tracker, I wouldn't have known to bring my passport in!

Hi everyone, I am new here but I have been reading and following this topic for the past few months.
I am an Italian citizen living and working in the UK for the past 2.5 years and my husband is Indian. We got married very recently - 3 months ago. We were in a long distance relationship.
I would like to share our success story with the EEA Family Permit as my hubby received his today!! :) we are thrilled.
It was very easy, actually much easier that getting married in India :D

Here are the documents we provided - it may help some of you:

PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP
-Original marriage certificate in English with
apostille
-300+ dated pictures of us in different places and with friends and family, from 2016 till now
-40 pictures of our wedding ceremony, which was very small, not romantic at all and with only 6 people
-My Indian visas and flight tickets
-Our train tickets together when we travelled within India
-6 month call history (phone) downloaded online
-Whatsapp and messenger screenshots from 2015 till now, around 50 pages
-7-8 pages screenshots of our posts on FB

PROOF THAT I AM EXERCISING MY TREATY RIGHTS
-6 months payslips stamped by employer and signed by HR
-2017/2018 P60 stamped by employer and signed by HR
-Letter from employer confirming my salary and permanent employment
-6 months bank statements (the last 2 months were just a copy printed in branch and stamped by the bank)
-Rental agreement for my room (I live in a shared house)
-NIN letter from HMRC

-Copy of my passport (certified by a solicitor), my original Italian ID, his Indian passport.

We were successful straight away.
It took 16 working days, he applied in New Delhi.

I hope this helps, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask :)
Good luck to all of you!!!

Congratulations!
Me and my partner have appropriate documents suitable for when I’d apply for EEA family permit too.

However, the online form is quite confusing as opposed to the straight forward pdf form(to be used by North Koreans only). Kindly give an insight on how the sections of the application was filled..were you able to skip some of the questions?? For instance, the pdf form specifies the questions to be filled by spouses but in the online form, it’s all crammed in!!!

Hi everyone.. I been read all comments in this topic
I submitted my application in Egypt
In 13-8-2018
Done biometric in TLS cairo 20-8-2018
Email from sheffiled in 25-8-2018
Refusal letter in 12-9-2018
The reason for refuses silly .they said your sponsor's employees not show in bank account and pay slips and even its show in and logo of bank not show and any details about .even mywife have permanent residence in UK and the EU regulations said if you have permanent residence they must issue visa for her husband. I talk with lawyer and she said poor decision and you must do appeal but she said will take around 1000£ .and I decided to make new application and provide payslips and bank statement with bank stamp on it and will provide it ..so any advice's to make this application strong and not refuse again

I'm German, married from Non-EU spouse. Trying since July to bring my wife to UK with no success.

The process of getting EEA Family Permit became a nightmare, the most disgusting experience I ever had in my life.

They claim applying from Berlin for this type of visa should be processed within 15 days. My wife applied two times, first time was refused (reason no sufficent evidences!!!), second time provided as much documents as we can, and applied in the middle of August, but still waiting.

I applied for my wife in many other countries, but never had this amount of unclarity, disregarding of humanity, and the right of family lives together like I had with UK Visa Department.

We are living apart since 5 months, I visit my family rarely because of the nature of my Job, we thought EEA Family Permit is a straight forward Visa, they are clearly violating the EU regulation, but why!? No body knows!

We must speak it out loud and reach out the people who are in charge to show how much we are suffering!

Happy for you, but that sounds very weird to me, why should I provide private stuff? they don't have the right to see any of the things you have provided. But I can understand your needs anyway.

Hi everyone!

Sharing my timeline with everyone :)
We applied from Istanbul, Turkey.

Application Submitted Online 28.08.2018
Appointment Date 30.08.2018
Application received at the UK Decision Making Centre 06.09.17
Decision Made 17.09.2018
Passport Ready to collect 26.09.2018

Please note that TLS is only a manual system, so the update is not accurate we did not receive any changes on there until the passport was ready to collect. I called UK Visas and Immigration on 24.09.2018 as we have heard nothing at it was over 15 days, and they advised that a decision has been made.

Hope this helps.
Good luck for everyone! :)

I submitted my application and biometrics at TLScontact in Almaty today. The staff there informed me that waiting time for EEA Family Permit is 60 working days  Got upset after hearing this, as I read that from other locations the decisions are being made in 15-20 working days. Does it really depend on location of where you are applying from? By the way, apparently the passport is being sent to Istanbul from here. Any insight into the processing times?

Hello everyone!

Sharing my partner's application timeline in São Paulo. He is a Brazilian national.

Application Submitted Online 10.09.2018
Appointment Date/Biometrics 17.09.2018 (there were slits available as soon as 12.09 though)
Application received at the UK Decision Making Centre in Sheffield 24.09.2018
Decision Made ? (we were not informed, but the visa was printed on 01.10.2018)
We received an email informig the passport was posted by VFS São Paulo to home delivery on 05.10.2018
Delivered 08.10.18 (not delivered during weekends)

Apart from my partner's passport, VFS didn't keep any of our supporting documents, as they digitalise them during the appointment. VFS staff were not helpful at all, didn't even answer questions about their own business, as the return delivery. The only notification we had was the UKVI email when the passport arrived in Sheffield abd then VFS sending us the tracking code when the passport was already in Brazil.

Hope this can help you and good luck!

Hi Gasos,
they are definitely violating EU regulations by keeping the passport that long time. Contact the Embassy of your wife's country in UK and ask them to contact UKVI directly.

Hi everyone, first of all I'd like to say a big thank you to members of this forum. I got valuable information for my EEA family permit application and I was successful on my first time of applying. I applied from Accra, Ghana
Timeline for application was:

Applied online: 19th Sept 2018
Submitted docs and biometrics: 24th Sept 2018
Email received from Shefo..application was prepared for consideration by ECO: 28th Sept 2018
No further emails from UKVI
Decision made ticked on TLS contact website tracker : 9th October 2018
Email from TLS passport ready for collection: 10 Oct 2018
Passport collected with EEA family visa : 10th Oct 2018. EEA stamp was dated 5th Oct, 2018

In all, it took 12 working days to collect my passport after submitting docs and biometrics
