Hello to all,
I applied for Family visa on 06/09/18 in ahmedabad, india and Got mail from them on 10/09/18 that online application has been received at the Uk decision making centre But after that havent got any message or mail from them and it's been one and a half month so shall i contact them or call or does it normally take that long?
please if you can guide me something i will be really thanks to all..
Yes a month and a half is enough time to have received a decision. You should call and ask on the status of your application. In my case, I tracked my application on the TLScontact website and saw that a decision had been made although I didn't receive any email from UKVi. All the best!

Hello All
After being rejected twice,I am thinking to reapply for EEA family permit to join my portugese mother in the UK.She is there since June 2017 and exercising treaty rights as she is full time employed since September 2017.
To join my mother in the UK,what documents should I get scanned in the VFS?
Note: I’m only 18
Any help regarding this matter will be highly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Selina,

I am going to apply for my parents in law also. I am EEA national married Indian-non eea national.
Best way is to spply for EEA permit for dependent parent. It is bit tricky but in case of success it is best option. You have to wait for 6 month bank transfers to show your mum is dependent on you /financial dependency/.

Hello everyone,
I am an Italian national, married to an Indian national. We were in a relationship since 2016. And our wedding took place in August 2018. He was in the UK since 2012 and went voluntary back to India few days before our wedding. Here are our timelines:
8th October 2018: form filled and appointment booked for 10th October 2018
10th October 2018: documents scanned and biometrics taken in VAC Jalandhar, India
10th October 2018: text message that documents have been forwarded
12th October 2018: email that documents have arrived in Sheffield
17th October 2018: email that they are considering the application and would like to interview both of us on 24th October 2018 on the same time
24th October 2018: interview (husband in India on video call and mine was in the UK over the phone)
28th October 2018: I emailed UKVI and they answered within 2 hours, stating the decision was made
6th November 2018: text message that passport has been dispatched
8th November 2018: passport collected with a refusal letter stating doubt on marriage of convenience

We did not appeal as it takes ages, so we decided to re-apply as soon as possible! We added a statement from my parents and their ids, a statement from a friend and a statement from the owner of the venue where our wedding took place. And most important, we submitted a cover letter with all highlighted points of refusal with our answers. A total of 800 A4 papers were scanned (761 in the previous application). The second timeline was:
8th November 2018: form filled and appointment booked for 12th November 2018
12th November 2018: documents scanned and biometrics taken in VAC Jalandhar, India
12th November 2018: text message and automated phone call that documents have been forwarded
14th November 2018: email that documents have arrived in Sheffield
21st November 2018: text message and automated call that passport has been dispatched
22nd November 2018: passport collected with FP stamped in it, valid from 19th November 2018

Re: Sheffield Visa Section - EEA FAMILY PERMIT

Hello everyone

I have seen someone already asking about it but without clear answer

I am Polish national living and working in UK for past 12 years and in current employment for 5 years
My wife is Chinese and we got married in february this year

although according to the family permit requirements on Home Office visa it says there is no money requirements for me i have noticed that it seems like bank statements are necessary :(
I have a letter from my employer clearly stating length of my employment, that its permanent, yearly income of 19K+ etc
i also have all the wage slips and p60s
each wage slip states method of payment as BACS so it clearly tells I have money transferred to my account

what i am concerned is the bank statement
i have been in significant overdraft since september due to several expences travelling costs etc

so my question is as follows
does NOT providing bank statements affects my wifes application ? is it necessary?
plus my bank refuses issuing stamped statement and i only recently thought of reactivating my paper statements
according to EU law on which grounds I am applying for EEA Family permit
i do exercise my rights (work ) and we have both polish and european version of our marriage certificate.

can anyone please help ?
any similar situation?
i can provide my email to clarify all details
kind regards
