Luisa, malrad and others... I share your pain
It's really frustrating. I'm almost giving up on this.
We don't have the option of giving up. All we can do it wait I guess. 🙏 I am following you guys' stories and praying hard for us.
I'm in the middle of two applications right now: This Visa and the portuguese citizenship. I can use both to enter in uk, but seems like I'll get the second one first. It's really frustrating because applications made from Portugal usually do not take this long time like mine is taking. Besides, it's hard to get in touch with UKVI, they don't say nothing...
Anyway, best of luck for us all, I'll keep waiting.

Hi all and thanks for having me here! I applied in Romania, Bucharest for an EA Family Permit together with my australian wife. Our timeline so far:

Online application- 1 Oct
Biometrics- 4 Oct
Acknowledgement of receipt- 14 oct
Called UKVI and confirmed decision has been made- 25 Oct
E-Mailed TLS to enquire about receiving passport- 28 Oct

TLS informed us that if we have not received a notice from the courier it means that the document has not been shipped yet. Any reasona to be worried? I see timelines where things moved relativey quick once a decision was made. Many thanks!

Received a not so straightforward mail yesterday and I can’t begin to imagine how many days/weeks I’m going to have to wait to receive my permit.

Hey @Zemryk you have been quiet, any news on your application?

Oh okay. Today is my 20th working day. Got 2 not straightforward mails. I’m also hoping to hear something this week. Praying it doesn’t take 30 working days to get an answer.

Also, contacting them isn’t a priority for me because it doesn’t seem to speed up the process nor answer any requests whatsoever; but I’ll have to do that if it takes too long.

I have similar situation. I put official complaint last week and this week they replied me that to implement decision they need some final checks that's why my passport delivery delayed.

Oops, that was 18th September! Okay, keep us posted and let us know if you hear back again regarding more checks. I haven't gotten any such communication, but I only called them and a really nice helpful woman told me she's escalated and to wait 15 working days. That was last week.

They finally made a decision on yours. Thank God. Praying for positive news for you. 🙏🏾

I’d try and contact them this week and find out what exactly is keeping them. The wait is stressful.

Hey guys
Applied from: Bangalore, India for EEA Family Permit - Spouse is EU national with UK PR.
I submitted docs and biometrics on 18th Sep.
I paid for Priority so I called on 25th Sep and was told: Decision has been made, wait for your passport.
No email or passport yet.
I called UKVI again on October 25th. The kind lady escalated and gave me a reference number.
I hope it comes next week i.e. six weeks after appointment.
Adding to my timeline:
4th November 5 PM Indian Time: Email from VFS : Application Processed, documents will be couriered (it didn't say When, so again tension, but a guy at VFS had told me after the email 24 to 48 hours you'll get passport at home)

5th Nov 3 PM Indian time: doorbell rang with courier guy holding my envelope. When you open the door make sure you have the VFS receipt and your identity card. He'll verify and ask you to sign on his tablet.

🙏 I hope those of us who are still waiting will be redeemed soon. 🙏

Hi there,
We applied online and submitted biometrics on the 01/10/2019 and still haven’t received any letter of certificate of application or acknowledgment receipt (Coa) and 20 working days have already passed.. and on the 22/10/2019 received a not straight forward email which didn’t help at all and still haven’t received anything else.
Any suggestions on what to do? :(
