May be they have backlog and they want to take more time on the application. I have similar timeline. Applied on 03/04/17 and on 20/04/17 got an email saying they need more time. Still no news.

Dear ********

UK Visas & Immigration has now assessed your UK visa application and made a decision. Your documents and

the decision will be sent back to either the UK Visa Application Centre where you applied, where we will

contact you by email over the next few days to collect them, or if you are using the courier return service, will

be sent directly back to the address you provided.

Please note that TLScontact does not know the outcome of the assessment and has played no role in the

decision-making process.

Kind regards,

I don't know if it's approved but it has been passed 57 working days since I did the biometrics. It has been stresfull. Hope I have gotten it finally...I wish you all good news :D :)

Got an email after enquiry

have tracked the status (GWF and date of birth) and
found that a decision on your application has been delayed whilst further
enquiries are being conducted. Your visa application centre or the entry
clearance officer will contact you once a decision has been made or, if
necessary, during the consideration of your application.
Still waiting
Keep checking the email every hour

Hi there!

Yes that's correct. 15 working days after we received an email saying:

Thank you for applying for a UK visa. Your visa application has been received and is under consideration.  We aim to process non settlement applications within 15 working days (unless you have opted for the Priority Visa service), and settlement applications within 60 working days.

Unfortunately, the processing of your application has not been straightforward and we will be unable to decide your application within our customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible.

We contacted the Home Office (through the online form) to ask about the status on 21 April. And this is what they said:

We understand that you would like to know about the current status of your
visa application. I have tracked the status and found that a decision on
your application has been delayed whilst further enquiries are being
conducted. Your visa application centre or the entry clearance officer will
contact you once a decision has been made or, if necessary, during the
consideration of your application.

Though we try our best to complete the visa application process in 15
working days, each application is subject to an individual assessment and
processing times may vary, hence applicants are requested to be patient and
wait for the processing to be completed. You can check how long you'll have
to wait for a decision on your visa application in your country (if you
applied from outside the UK) by entering your details at the following
link: https://www.gov.uk/visa-processing-times. Please note that the actual
processing times may vary depending on a range of factors.

I checked on the visa processing times for February and 94% of applications were finalised within 15 days, 95% within 30 days and 100% within 60 days.

So if our processes are within those last 6% it could take 30 days or 60 days for HO to make a decision. This is working days so excluding weekends and public holidays.

All we can do really is wait and enquire the status. I counted the days and my 60 days end on 13/06/2017 so about one more month to go!

Me and my husband have come to a point that it doesn't matter how long it takes (it does but oh well) as long as we get a positive response that's all we want.

All the best to you guys and keep us posted if you hear any news - positive I hope :)

Thank you so much for the detailed information. Probably the processing times now is getting longer because they have to send the documents to shiffield to thoroughly assess it not like before its on each countries embassy that they assess the documents. Hopefully all else will be good to all of us :) its too much patience and hardwork so hopefully we can get it all. :)

Hello everyone!

Sorry for being late, but I just came here to tell you that after two refuses, I finally got my visa stamped from 28/05- Now I can breath! I wish you all the best for you all, just keep waiting. There's a quote in my language that says "every late has a good". Hope it worth as mine was worth. Please see the first post I made on this matter, so you could see what kind of documents will help you to get this visa. It's all about not leaving anything on the air.

Good luck!

Hello guys. A sad news that i was refused i just received the letter yesterday. I think the hint is if you receive an email from the Uk itself theres a big possibility that you are approved but if its from the company relaying the message to u, big possibility that you are refused. I will not try to appeal anymore. I will try again after a year. Goodluck to all of you! Hoping you receive the good news

Hello Ianlan
Sorry to hear that. Is it ur first application? And why are you going to wait for another year? My first application was rejected in March within 15 days of the application. I have applied again with more documents and explanations in regards to the ground of refusal. I have applied on 03/04/2017 and still awaiting the reply yet. It's more than 6 weeks now.
What's the refusal reason you have been given? Can you post ur refusal letter here please.
Regards
