TLSContact - which visa type should I choose?

Post by leshok » Wed Jul 18, 2018 9:34 pm

Hey everybody,

US citizen here! Married my Czech girlfriend who lives and works in the UK. I got through the application and now I am stuck on this final question for TLSContact. It is asking me "Visa Type and Travel Purpose", but I do not see EEA anywhere... I plan on moving to London and working there, so which one would this be?

I have contacted them, but no response...

Student - no
Transit - no
Other Non-Settlement - ?
"If you are invited to come to the UK due to your particular skills or expertise. You may apply to come to the UK for up to 1 month without the need to be sponsored under the points-based system. This category is for visiting examiners or assessors; lecturers; overseas designated pilot examiners; qualified lawyers; and professional artists, entertainers, and sportspersons."
Family Visitor (>6 months) - ?
"If you are planning on coming to the UK to visit members of your family."
Family Visitor (<6 months) - ?
"You can apply for a Standard Visitor visa if you want to visit the UK:

- for leisure, eg on holiday or to see your family and friends;
- for business, or to take part in sports or creative events;
- for another reason, eg to receive private medical treatment.
The Standard Visitor visa has replaced the Family Visitor visa."
Settlement - no, she has not settled. She has been in the UK for about 2 years though, but she does not qualify for this.
Visitor (>6 months) - no
Visitor (<6 months) - no
Tier 1 - no
Tier 2 - no
Tier 4 - no
Tier 5 - no
Biometric Enrollment for British Citizenship applicants - no
Overseas and Commonwealth - no

It is not clear to me which one I should choose.

Thank you
